Very nice apartment, fifteen minutes walk to the beach, not far from there is a particularly delicious Thai food.

Jade's apartment was clean and tidy, with a comfy bed, great TV, good kitchen and modern bathroom. Really close to public transport and the city and very close to the Botanic Gardens, which we loved. Jade was really easy to reach and very helpful and friendly when we asked her anything... we were very happy with our stay in Jade's apartment.

My stay at Jade’s place was great! Very clean, easy to check in and come and go from the apartment. Lots of hotels in the area that tours can easily pick-up from if you don’t rent a car (which I didn’t, though there’s tons of parking if you do!). Internet was pretty spotty the whole time I was there so I wouldn’t rely on it for work if you need strong internet. It was a wonderful stay, it’s easy to recommend!

Super cozy studio! Nice, neat, and clean! Jade was very communicative and accommodated us as much as possible. The instructions to check in and out were easy to follow. We rented a car the day we arrived and we were able to park it on-site. The WiFi worked great. The location is about a 10 minute drive to the harbor for Great Barrier Reef excursions and a 20 minute drive from the Kuranda railway.

Jade was a very accommodating host who made me feel very welcome and looked after. His apartment was clean and had everything I needed to enjoy my stay in Cairns. I can highly recommend him and his apartment to anybody.

Really loved staying here, hosts couldn’t have been better and helped with Uber / taxi prices to the place. The place is beautiful & it’s like you’re at a mini zoo with all the animals they own. I dreamt about this place longtime before to get in! And honestly I had a blast ! The place was beyond my expectations. Everything is cared in all details . I adored the tub outside close to the turtle and lizards and the little adorable green frogs 🐸 in front of the dining area in the garden . I really had great time there and fully recovered and relaxed . And I was able to walk to the city as the pad is very close to the esplanade.

Matt & Dan‘s Airbnb is the most beautiful one we ever stayed at. When you enter the property you feel like you’re in little paradise. We loved all the animals, especially the dogs and the parrots. It was really easy and simple to access and we had our privacy if we wanted. I can just recommend staying at lily pad inn!

The photos obviously show the high standard of this property. The reality is absolutely amazing, Matt and Dan have designed a fabulous retreat close to the hub of Cairns. They have a multitude of interesting Australian creatures in enclosures to add to the charm and magic. I can’t wait to stay again

Incredible surroundings with the gardens and small enclosures full of fish and reptiles. Was such a treat, just like your own private zoo. The room itself was stylish and very comfortable. Could have stayed for a week!

What a great stay. Super close to the airport. Quiet area right next to the botanical gardens. The room was nice and clean. Angela met me downstairs and gave me the quick tour of the place. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in town!

While I was there, Rita's friend Angela was housesitting and was handling guests in her absence. She was lovely, very accommodating and made me feel welcome as well as offered local tips on where to go. She kept the place super clean and even drove me to my next airbnb. Really had a nice stay there. The place was great as well! Very modern and spacious. :)

The apartment is very stylish and clean. It is directly next to the Botanical Gardens so it was like having the Rainforest in the back yard. It's walking distance a small market, a steak restaurant and a some convenient stores. Great location and great hospitality.

Rita and Manu are very, very good value for money, convenient, and bikes are available, but because we rented a car, we did n’t ride. Manu helped us pick up two oversized and oversized suitcases. Today we went to the Great Barrier Reef to play. We need to leave early. Manu also drove us to the hotel to store our luggage and then sent it to the dock. We talked with them a lot about their hometown. Recommended recommendation, perfect score host! !! !!

We had such a great time in Rita’s apartment and in Cairns. Rita is a great and friendly host with great knowledge and recommendations. The bikes, the pool and cooking area were amazing. We can 100% recommend this apartment and would definitely choose it again!

Thanks for the hospitality, the bikes, the luggage storage… all makes me feel home. Rita is very enthusiastic, living in Cairns North, ten minutes to the dock Uber and 10 minutes to the Kuranda cable car station Uber. The bus station is 100 meters downstairs and there is a convenience store next to it. Great value accommodation, super clean and convenient. Rita also borrowed a bicycle to give us a night tour of Cairns, it was great.

Large clean room in a quiet neighbourhood. A little far from town to walk but plenty of transport options. Enjoyed my stay.

Excellent service!

I stayed for a week and i just loved it! I stayed in a pretty bad place beforehand to be fair so everything was just extra nice for me - the big bathroom with a proper shower and a great wasching machine that you are allowed to use! A spacious and clean room with a comfy bed and a big wardrobe (which comes in handy if you're here for work). I loved the privacy and the well equipped kitchen, i would come back anytime! Thanks again!

I stayed at their house just for 1 day. So I couldn’t see them, but their hospitality was great. I changed my plan many times before my trip, but they were very flexible with quick response. The location is good to access the city!

For myself this was a nice quiet place to stay. Perfect for traveling solo. Nice walk along the esplanade into the city. Paul's communication is fantastic very easy to deal with.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Glenn’s Airbnb. Glenn was friendly, helpful and replied very quickly. The location was good - great if you want to stay somewhere quiet but still be relatively close to everything. It took us approximately 10 minutes to drive to the city centre, or 40 minutes to walk (I recommend walking if not too hot as it’s a lovely walk along the beach). Also close to some food outlets and cafes. We were satisfied with all the amenities, and everything met our expectations. We would be happy to stay here again if we return to Cairns.

Great place to stay!

Very lovely tidy place with a nice view on the harbour/sea and has everything what you need. The hosts are really amazing. We stayed at Roberts place during the COVID-19 crisis. Robert provided us a safe base and offered us a helping hand with everything he could. We are so thankful we could stay at this place and felt really safe during this uncertain time. Again, thank you so much!!

Nice clean apartment in a good location

Location is great. Close to pretty much all the restaurants. Woolworths a 5 min walk. The jetty where all the boats for great barrier reef tours are close by. Nothing is far away. Also snacks provided in the fridge, including some bottles of water. This was great to have. There's also a coupon book for many of the restaurants. Check in was easy, but you do have to follow it step by step. Best airbnb ever.

The location was perfect as it was one block from the beach, close to eateries and shopping. Right downtown so it was easy to be picked up for excursions. Exceptional host as Robert went the extra mile with the transfer of our luggage. Thoughtful amenities, including items in the refrigerator for travelers. Would gladly recommend and stay here again.

It's the best host. He taught me slowly and carefully to me who do not understand English. Thank you. Wifi is also very stable. There was still a hanger in the closet. Besides, they also have clothespin! The night is also very quiet. It is regrettable that the temperature control of the shower is too difficult. Please go to Cairns once more.

Absolutely amazing hospitality. I could tell that this was more than just a source of income for Carolina, but she was very happy to show people around and help with questions. She provided good advice and discounts for booking tours as well. The location is walkable to the CBD, but a little far from any public transit, shops, or restaurants. As long as the weather is nice, this isn't a problem.

Carolina was really helpful and had great tips for my day trips from Cairns. The room is quiet and good sized; I slept like a stone. Not in the center, but easy to get around to whatever you need. I'd definitely stay here again.

Carolina's place is around 20 minutes walk away from the Esplanade. It has a lovely living area and the room is quite spacious with a double bed and a single bed. The flat is sparkling clean. Carolina is a great host as well and is happy to help with organising the tour to the Great Barrier Reef.

Very clean, quiet and fantastic location with beautiful views of the water and mountains. I loved having use of the fridge and being able to watch Netflix in bed. Great home comforts! Spacious bathroom with powerful shower. Would love to stay again.

Scott and Kris are wonderful hosts! They kept in constant communication before, during, and after my stay. I knew exactly what to expect when I arrived. The location and space were perfect for me while visiting Cairns to go scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. I was within walking distance to the pier, as well as many restaurants, shops, and the bus to get out to Kuranda to see some local wildlife such as koalas, kangaroos, and wallabies. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a great deal, in a great location, and work with lovely hosts!

Great location, about a 20 minutes walk from downtown which is great for sleeping and having quiet time at night. Cate always responded very quickly to my questions and was accommodating. Would recommend.

Cate was a very respectful and considerate host. She gave me all the info I needed to have a comfortable stay and was easy to contact when I had questions. The house was clean and tidy. I felt very at home there. It was handy having a bike to ride into town. It’s just 7 minutes along the esplanade and a beautiful ride.

Great stay, lovely home

Mel’s apartment is located in The Lakes resort which is a nice gated community. There are swimming pools to cool off and relax on very hot days. The apartment is very spacious with a great outdoor area to enjoy the weather. It is close to the bus stop for traveling to downtown. It was good base for exploring Cairns and surrounds.

Mels place was STUNNING! My friend and I stayed for a couple of days and it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed in. Very clean, as good as the photos look it to be!! The pools were so much fun. The little village of apartments is adorable. Location is amazing. Recommend, recommend, recommend !

What an awesome place to stay!!!! We could have spent days or even weeks in this top equipped apartment. All was clean and tidy! Next time Australia I will definitely stay here again - spending more days in and around Cairns!

Value of money for small budget. And host Trac is a kind and warm person. Especially this accomodation has seperated with host place. Kitchen, Toilet and bathroom is clean and each door has a locking as well. Also room has a air conditioner. Thanks Trac,see you!

Suitable and safe enough for a single female. You can book tours and ask then to pick you up from a hostel very near the house. Cooking is allowed in this place with all the necessary facilities, even chopsticks! You can walk about 20 minutes along the beach to get to the terminal and the swimming pool in city center. Viet is friendly and helpful, although we don't have so much time to talk with each other.

Great value and good location. Richard went out of his way to let me leave my stuff in his office for an extra day and then collect it in the evening. Even though he was out on the boat with limited service, communication was spot on as he would always get back to me. Remember to lock your room before leaving as the front gate lacks a lock. Overall, positive experience and would consider again.

We just returned home from our trip to Cairns and I can’t say enough positive things about this condo. First off, Julie and Simon were so responsive to our needs. They accommodated an early (very early) checkin for us, which we were so grateful for! The apartment itself was clean and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. It was in a wonderful location! Close to restaurants, cafes, shops, pools, sightseeing..... we didn’t have to take an Uber/taxi once. And we always felt very safe. My friend and I kept saying that we couldn’t believe the value. You get much more than you pay for here! Thank you, Julie and Simon, for a great stay experience while in Cairns!

I can really recommend to stay at Julie‘s place. It is close to the city and the ocean and you can easily get there! It was very clean and I would always come back!

Loved this apartment in Cairns. It was convenient and walkable to the ocean and Esplanade. The host was great and kept in communication with me if I needed anything. If you go to Cairns, I highly recommend the Muddy Cafe and visiting the Cairns Night Market. Lots of great local places to eat.

We enjoyed our stay at Greg‘s place! He is very welcoming and friendly, the bedroom is exactly like in the pictures. The kitchen and bathroom was well equipped and very clean! Greg picked us up at the airport and even provided some groceries. When we had questions he was there to help. 100% recommended!

Gregor’s place was clean, comfortable and well-located for getting around Cairns. I like to walk, so I enjoyed walking downtown to the museum, shops and eateries, the wharf and the Esplanade. Gregor is an excellent host; I would tell you that he cooked me some wonderful ‘roo, but I wouldn’t want him to have to cook ‘roo for all his guests. So I won’t tell you that!! But it was excellent!! If you are on foot, as I was, you can book your tours to be picked up at the Grosvenor, which is a regular stop on all the local tours and it’s only about 3 blocks, or a ten-minute walk.

Greg and his friend were very nice. Greg even picked us up from the airport. The accommodation was clean and comfortably furnished. We would definitely come again

The hostel was clean. I also cooked and I was comfortable. I borrowed two bicycles and it was nice to ride every day.

Joan's place is just right if you are looking for a short stay in cairns like me. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and is close to the airport. Joan was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to all my queries. She was flexible with my changing plans as well which was great.

Joan was very accommodating and lovely. The location is good as it's a close drive/bike ride to the city but in an area that isn't noisy from traffic etc.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the busier areas, but still close enough to walk to the centre. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It’s very close to the beautiful Botanic Gardens and you really feel as if you’re in amongst the wildlife with all the wonderful bird calls around. Joan was very helpful and has made it a very comfortable place to stay.

Joan is a great host. You can tell she has experience in hospitality from the start. I stayed at this house with my daughter and upon arrival she had even set up a pull out bed for my daughter. Kitchen is well equipped and everything is very clean. The bedroom is equipped with A/C which is great and needed in this area during spring and summer for sure. Location is quiet and nice and away from the crowded touristy areas but close enough to all activities like reef central, rainforest and esplanade. Grocery is a short walk as well. A great location also close to the airport. I would definitely stay here again.

The place is exactly like the picture, but a bit bigger. It's not far from the center and you can follow the promenade to get to the esplanade, which is quite nice. But if you don't like to walk, there is a bus at the end of the road. There is also a supermarket close by and Joan left a lot of flyers about what to do while staying which is pretty great ! She is also super helpfull, will reply fast and do her best to accommodate you. There are also 2 big dogs on the premise,but in cages. They are very sweet but you might hear them bark a little bit.

If you are looking to save money and have a peaceful nights sleep in cooling temperatures, this is the place to go. We got to borrow the bicycles for free and it was amazing riding it in the early hours by the coast in the cooling winds. The people were kind and went out of their way to pick up our bike keys which we accidentally took to the airport, and we cannot thank them enough! 💯 for customer service! Defo recommended!

Lovely and homely. The bed is super comfy and everything was clean and modern! Great facilities with the pool and tennis courts.

We had a great stay. Location is ideal about 15 minutes walks to Cairns center and 10 minutes drive to the airport. The apartment was clean and confortable, just a little bit less modern than it looks on the pictures. Marc is a great host. Very available and helpful. Would go back again!

Marc's condo was in the perfect location! We were right next to the downtown strip where you can find the best food, marina for tours, and even the aquarium! The condo offered two pools that were nice to hangout at. The place was clean and offered mini shampoos and soap during your stay. Will definitely reccomend if you are looking for a place to stay in Cairns!

Cate is a fantastic host. I was able to chat with her a little when she wasn’t at work. She gave me tips on markets and local events that were happening in the espionage. She also let me take the bike out to bike to the gym, which was super helpful. She is at work most of the time which also gave me the privacy that I was looking for. Cate let me check in early, which was very nice since I was arriving at 10am. Easy lockbox check in. Room, kitchen and bathroom were clean the whole time. There was another person staying in the room next to mine the first couple days, which was completely fine because I never really saw her. It was nice that Cate always would message me when a new person was coming to rent the room next to mine. The bed was comfortable and I really didn’t have an issue sleeping. There is a family that lives in the unit above where the kids can get pretty loud, but of course that is out of anyone’s control. Overall lovely host and place. Great value for the price. My stay at Cate's place was very pleasant. Cate was super friendly and easy to communicate with. The house and the room were clean and I was sharing the bathroom with one other guest only for the first few days of my stay. The location is nice and it's a bit out of the CBD but just a short walking distance to the beachfront promenade and 20min walk to CBD. I can recommend this place and would stay with Cate again.

Cate is a wonderful host. Fast responses to all messages and easy check in with lockbox. The place is in a convenient location to the esplanade and walking distance to the city. The complimentary access to the bike was very handy. Thanks for a great budget accommodation!

Great, comfortable room at Cate’s place! Very clean, and communication was clear and quick, making the check in/out process easy. Not far from the esplanade, just a short walk to get to the path then not far down you get to all the shops, restaurants, and night market. Great location to be in! Also helps being close to the airport. Definitely recommend Cate’s place!

She is very nice, i made some smoke when i was cooking, really sorry about that. The house is very close to the sea. I like it.

Simple but effective - we needed somewhere to stay for a night before heading out on a live aboard. Great value, we enjoyed the pool and it was near to the town and the airport. Check in was easy and efficient. Just what we needed.

The place is as the photos, just little small but enough for 2-4 people. The communication is very good with Simon. The place have all the necessary amenities and more like a nesspreso coffee maker and wii :)

The accommodation is just what you need for your stay in Cairns. Close to the city center and attractions. Clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The common living room and kitchen space is small, but enough for 4 people. The kitchen equipped with everything you need during your stay. Good communication with host. Highly recommended!

Very homie vibe! All the roommates are really nice. You feel safe and at home in Ant's place. I was able to cook and use the kitchen with no issue, and the fan in the room is more than enough at night. Loved my stay here and wish I could've extended but it was already booked! If/when I come back, would definitely stay here. Ladies, this is a great place for female solo travelers! Thank you again Ant!!!

Ant is proper quality host, from start to finish he responded promptly and was very helpful for the duration of my stay. He has a lovely place and it is situated 5mins from the local shopping centre and bus routes to Cairns Central; which is only 20 to 30mins by bus. He was kind enough to drive me about and show me the local sights... All in all, he is a legend!!! Would be more than glad to stay here again!!!

At Ant's house, i could rest enough. If you want to find the room which quiet and feel nature, this house will be a good choice.

I chose to stay in Ants home, because I love Queenslanders for a start. It certainly was a beautiful home, and very cosy and comfortable. Definitely value for your buck so that was another great reason to stay. I think it doesn't matter where you stay in Cairns, it's not a far drive to anywhere, so the location of Ants home was great. I found Ant to be very friendly and helpful, although I did not see much of him in the days I stayed. Laura, his flatmate was lovely also, we spent some hours in great conversation, so that was cool. So yeah, definitely recommend for a nice chill, friendly and cosy stay.

Second time I’ve stayed at Ant’s now and would go back again. Feels real homely which is lovely when so far away from home. Super helpful and friendly guy. Thank you so much 😜 Good location.

Absolutely the sweetest, most understansting and hard working hosts you can ever meet! They made my stay so much better, while I was there during the corona crisis. If you look for a place to stay in Cairns, don't look any further. The appartment has got everything you need, is clean and the Tim Tam's on arrival are the icing on the cake! And as I said earlier you'll get the best hosts ever with it!

Great place to stay in Cairns. Very affordable for a lovely, full equipped flat! Only thing is it's a bit out of the main hub, but Ubers are readily available and cheap so this didn't affect our stay. Great location if you have a car! Hosts are very keen for you have to have a perfect stay so they are always on hand if you need anything. Would definitely return!

Great place in central Cairns to adventure from. East to find and very helpful receptionists for planning trips. They also can get you discounts/deals like decreasing the deductible on rental car insurance. Very helpful for my one day in Cairns after my diving trip.

PERFECT! I was in Cairns for business and this was a perfect stay/base for the trip. Linda is a great host and the apartment is amazing, plenty of space, great location and lovely extra touches (including TIM TAMS!!). I had a perfect stay and would recommend for work or couples. I will definitely stay again.

Excellent! Truly enjoyed my over 10 days stay. Linda's communication was outstanding, she made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I stayed with two dogs which I tought was amazing, they loved playing in the park at the back of the property and morning walks to the esplanade! Loved the big shower, bed was very comfy, aircon worked very well the lounge room was great for watching some telly! I would highly recommend this airbnb!

It's amazing place in cairns. Close to everything and most tour companies hotel pick ups are nearby. Linda is super communicative and even helped us with getting better deals on some tours. I highly recommend this listing.

Alan and Robyn’s place was amazing!! A little out of the main of cairns but I thought it was pretty nice. A great Thai place near by and a great seafood place close. My favorite was their foster dog, Misty. She was an angel that greeted us almost any time we walked out of our place, and we got to walk her a couple times too. Great nice people. Thank you again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the two German shepherds who were staying at the time! Lovely cute little flat with everything you need. Also a very nice shower!

Very comfortable studio with all the details thought of, good value for money. Walking distance to the city. Alan and Robyn were very helpful and accommodating. Appreciated the amenities such as full size fridge, washing machine and iron.

Great location. A 5 minute walk to IGA, the botanic gardens and the pool with the Flo Rider. A 30 minute fast walk into town along the esplanade or 45 minute slow walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hosts were amazing and went out of their way. We had a chat and a drink with them on our first night. We were very lucky no one was staying the night before and were able to check in early and out late on the last day. I can’t thank them enough for allowing this flexibility meaning we did not have to drag luggage around on both days. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of supplies if you had forgotten things. We heard a couple of planes and only saw a train as we left on the last day so we didn’t have any problems with either of those. If you’re after places to eat, ask the hosts as they have some great knowledge of the area.
