  • Beautiful space and good value. The pool and bbq area is shared with other guests as mentioned, however everyone was lovely as it would be hard not to be in a great mood in this setting! Loft style space means beds are all in 1 room, like going back to school camp with friends. We had a ball.

    Kristine2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Exceptional hospitality and will please you! Always helping and accommodating to our needs!

Pretend you are lost in a magical forest as you perch on a log or curl up in the swinging chair. Soak in the tub, then fall asleep in a heavenly bedroom with cloud-painted walls and twinkling lights. And when you wake up, the espresso machine awaits.
Fully equiped kitchen Netflix available via AppleTV Super-fast WiFi Fully air-conditioned We're Klaudia (Sanctuary Artist), Jonathan (Data Magician), Maria (Fairy Godmother) and Tony (Maker of Worlds), a multi-cultural family all living in Melbourne. We're all different in many ways, but we all share one thing in common: passion for unique and magical experiences. We have long since wished there were easy ways to escape our busy city lives and retreat into a magical, beautiful and peaceful space that feels like another world. This idea eventually evolved into a mission to build with our own hands Melbourne's very own magical sanctuaries, and to share it with the rest of the world. We love imagining what we could create, to build, and to share them with the world through hosting. We constantly think about how to make our creations bring even greater sense of joy and wonder, and not about how much it'll cost us. We're genuinely excited and happy to host each new guest, to hear about what they love about our creations, and what we could do to make it even better. We have built and opened our first instalment of Melbourne's hidden sanctuary, which we lovingly refer to as "Heaven & Earth". We have plans to make it even better, as well as other ideas for other worlds we want to try building for our next instalments. We invite you to step into one of our hidden sanctuaries, to follow our journey on social media, and to watch and help us grow by sharing what you think!
All Melbourne's CBD attractions are within easy walking distance—you can reach Flinders Station, Federation Square, and the Yarra River in five minutes. Degraves Street is a three-minute walk, and Hardware Lane restaurants are six minutes away.
  • Absolutely gorgeous and unique stay!

  • Great place....very special felt like fairy. Very clean ...everything you need provided. Quick responses. Easy checkin instructions and process.

    Cath2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and unique space, a memorable experience - that’s for sure. The place was just as described, with amazing attention to details and extra touches like great coffee machine and milk provided, plenty of towels and warm, cozy bedding. The forest theme created an environment more relaxing than I even imagined. The location of the apartment, being at the end of the hall meant it was a quiet oasis in the middle of the CBD. Can’t fault this place!

  • Perfect little spot right downtown. Easy to find, great location, easy access, clean, lots of little extra’s such as; cell phone charging cords, universal plugs, lots of towels, face clothes, things that you may need, but forgot to pack. Some may find the street noise abit loud for sleeping at times, I did not, but, she even has ear plugs there for you. I would highly recommend 👍

  • That is a sunshine, bright room. You can see the great Library from the window. The interior is amazing, can enjoy 80's record jacket. Also can enjoy cooking in the kitchen, the host prepare good stuff. Close to tram stop and Melbourne Central Station. Charlee is very kind and friendly.

  • Charlee helped us with a last-minute late check-in, which was appreciated! The space is stylish and comfortable with everything you need. Only issue is if you're a light sleeper and bothered by the noise of the tram - earplugs are provided, however. Thanks again Charlee! :)

A beautiful sunny space in the heart of Fitzroy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ideal for a solo traveller or couple who want to experience Melbourne like locals.
This beautiful studio apartment has been recently renovated and is ideally located in Fitzroy within walking distance to Melbourne CBD. It is ideal for a single person or a couple. The apartment is on the first floor of a small block of units (18 in total) surrounded by greenery. Our studio apartment (approximately 32m2) is tastefully decorated and has a large window overlooking Napier Street which gets lovely morning light.
Fitzroy is one of the most exciting and vibrant neighbourhoods in Melbourne. Our apartment is located just off Gertrude Street, between Brunswick Street and Smith Street, all which offer some of the most interesting cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries and shops in town.
  • We had a great stay at Kate and Has’s apartment. The location is perfect for discovering Fitzroy and a stones throw from the tram for exploring further. The space is ideal for 2, we didn’t use the kitchen area as there are too many good food options right on the door step! The communication with the agents was really easy when needing to leave our bags at the office in the city and they were also able to get us checked in earlier than scheduled. Thanks for a great stay!

  • What an incredible location! Lovely and clean and terrific communication.

    Felicity2020-02-21T00:00:00Z

Across the road from the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground and other sporting venues, 15 minutes to Sydney's beautiful eastern suburbs beaches including the world famous Bondi Beach. Start your day with a coffee at the amazing Bourke Street Bakery right around the corner. Our house is a very stylish, architecturally designed & recently renovated terrace house. A perfect combination of the old & the new, and incredibly relaxed environment. Your room is a large room with its own private balcony looking out over the neighbourhood & comfortable queen size bed. Plenty of hanging and drawer space for your clothes so no need to live out of a suitcase. This is also the home of Gascoigne & King - all guests will receive one of our beautifully handmade luxury scented travel candles (retail $25) for free when they check in!!
This is undoubtedly the best location is Surry Hills, two minutes' walk to cafes, restaurants, and bars and a short walk to the CBD, Sports Fields, Centennial Park, Opera House, and Sydney Harbour. Take a short trip to Bondi or Manly Beach.
  • Bron's place was beyond my wildest dream! Her place is gorgeous and situated in my now favorite neighborhood of Sydney. We felt welcomed the moment we walked into her home. Location was easily accessible by foot from the Central train station so super easy to get there from the airport. Her house is surrounded by delicious restaurants, bakeries and cafes. It is also within walking distance to many tourist sights. Bren's suggestions provided us the local view of Sydney. Our room was very comfortable/private and offered every amenity you may need. Our only regret was not staying longer!

    Rebecca2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place. Bron is a brilliant host.

    David2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Bron is a thoughtful and warm host who immediately made our stay a comfortable one. In addition to Bron’s hospitality, her home was stylish, modern and artfully decorated. We very much enjoyed our stay and we were grateful for Bron’s recommendations of great places to eat in the area. Thank you!

    Jason2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful weekend stay in Sydney. Bron made me feel very welcome in her home and it was everything I had hoped for. The location is great too being so close to everything.

    Bronte2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location and place..Bron was amazing and made me feel very at home, especially with a nice cold glass or wine when I arrived 😉....looking forward to staying again.

    Larissa2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was easily one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. Both the Airbnb itself and Bron are amazing. There are so many thoughtful touches from cool art pieces to Aesop soap in the bathroom and the design of the home is architecturally stunning. I was staying alone and Bron made me feel so welcome - she’s a social butterfly and knows everyone in the neighborhood so she introduced me to all her friends and invited me to get drinks/dinner with them! We got our nails done together and she has great taste and recommendations as well. I only stayed at Bron’s for one night at the end of my Sydney trip but I wish I had stayed longer. I would go back to Sydney just to stay at Bron’s place again!

    Michelle2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t recommend enough

    Angus2020-02-14T00:00:00Z

  • I had a good time with mel’s place. She and her dog Harry was so kind. Her place was bright and clean also the house location is convenient to sightseeing. I’m highly recommended mel’s place!!

    Mana2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mel's house is a lovely place to stay at. Mel is very friendly and will help you with anything. Her dog Harry is adorable and loves to play and getting her tummy scratched. I loved the inside decoration. The whole house was perfectly clean and it just made you feel at home. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

    Anna2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • It was lovely staying at Mel's. Good communication, nice comfy space and a great spot to be able to explore some of Sydney from :)

    Laura2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay and Mel was a nice host :)

    Michaela2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Mel was the most welcoming and accommodating host! I loved staying at her beautiful terrace home in Redfern with her cute dog Harry. It was a perfect location close to the train station and awesome little cafes everywhere. The room was spacious with lovely natural light and a VERY comfortable bed. Bathroom was sparkling clean. Beautiful touches and art around the home, with a stunning mirror feature wall. Thanks Mel!

    Ella2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • You MUST stay here! Mel has created a comfortable contemporary environment that is perfectly located in the quaint Redfern community. The town is very walkable and has cute shops and eateries (an an excellent barber). Public transportation to the city or other areas is a short walk away. (and Sydney has enabled their public transportation to use any tap enabled credit card on public transportation, so you can avoid buying an Opal card). Most importantly, you'll get to meet Harry! Harry is a wonderful housemate. She is well mannered and very loving. Scratch her belly and she'll love you forever! If you're not a dog person, you won't understand. If you are, you get it. Next time I'm in Sydney, I will be back here. The hospitality, cleanliness, personal touches, and of course puppy time make the trip worthwhile. Thanks Mel and Harry.

    Bob2020-01-21T00:00:00Z

My 34 sqm studio is quietly tucked away yet in the middle of everything. There are a gazillion cafes/bars/supermarkets right downstairs and weekend markets across the road. A pleasant walk by the water takes you to the art gallery, botanic gardens and opera house.
The apartment is on the border between the red light district (home to some hard characters, weekend party-goers and backpackers) and the gentrified part of the neighbourhood (the 'Paris end' of Potts Point). The 1937 building, originally nurses quarters, is quite dilapidated but retains its period charm. My flat is renovated so feels fresh. The shower temperature can be tricky to get just right so I often took baths living there, and the bath is nice and deep. Nestled between other apartments overlooking the high street and rear laneway, my flat is on the first floor and faces into a lightwell. This means there is no grand vista but also no street noise, and it's temperate with plenty of natural light. It feels spacious for a studio as the bathroom, kitchen, walk-in wardrobe and bed nook are separate from the central living area. Below is a patisserie so kitchen sounds and smells can waft up (I've never found this too intrusive but some guests have mentioned it, see reviews). The most frequent positive feedback I get is around the apartment's decoration/style and location.
I love the harbour-side walk to the Andrew Boy Charlton swimming pool, across the water from the strangely beautiful naval base. The Saturday food markets have a great vibe (I recommend The Butchers Table stall sandwiches and the Vietnamese salads and pho) and the patisserie right next door does amazing chocolate mousse cake and croissants. If you exit the back door of the building you open it onto a tiny hole-in-the-wall cafe called Room 10 which does excellent, and marvellously convenient, coffee. The walk to Beare Park on the water takes you through residential streets with nice art deco architecture and past the historic Elizabeth Bay House, which itself has a lovely public garden across the road - both good spots for a picnic. Rushcutter's Bay is a more expansive park, good for jogging, frizbee, playgrounds etc. There is a lot of nightlife in the area - the gay clubbing precinct is nearby, tawdry Kings Cross is in full swing on weekend nights and there are some more sophisticated small bars in Potts Point and on Victoria Street. Close to Sydney's major attractions, the area is full of hotels & hostels, a tourist information booth and places to hire travelling vans, book outback adventures etc. Airport shuttle buses loop around the streets every half hour or so and the hop-on hop-off city tour bus stops outside my building.
  • We received a heartfelt welcome from Ester. Her place is clean, stylish and has a great location. King Cross station (located around 500m from the apartment) will connect you to all essential attractions in Sydney. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again the next time we come to Sydney!

    Phuc2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely studio in a convenient location, very easy to get anywhere in Sydney. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend if you’re spending a few days in Sydney!

    Julia2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Studio looks exactly as the pictures. Super clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom so you don't need to worry when cooking or bringing food back to eat. The bathroom comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash which I thought was an especially nice touch since not a lot of hosts provide that. WiFi is strong and reliable. Location is absolutely fabulous! So central with an overhwleming choice of cafes and restaurants as soon as you step out. The studio is right above a bakery so you wake up to the glorious smell of freshed baked pastries every morning. Got my tummy churning hard! Easy to find location and easy to access. No elevators though but just 1.5 flights of stairs so easy enough to manage. The exterior of the apartment building is very unassuming but t The studio is done up beautifully and is super super cozy! High recommended stay! Much better than a hotel! The space has so much character and is very good value!

    Chelsea2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and lovely apartment! You’ll find everything you need there and the apartment is decorated with lots of small details and love! Ariana really is a superhost and took care of us so nicely! Thank you again Ariana! We would always choose your apartment again!

    Yvonne2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Ariana is a great host and her flat is very comfortable and right in the middle of everything, a lot of cafés around, a few minutes to Kings Cross station, and you can walk to the Botanical Garden etc. Ariana welcomed me personally to make sure I have everything I need, I found that very attentive. I had a great stay and enjoyed it very much.

  • Ariana is super friendly and helpful and the apartment in an excellent location. Would recommend!

    João2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I stayed at Ariana's apartment for a few days and enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy, communication was quick and helpful, and check-out was flexible. The area is lively (with all the associated positives and negatives), but the apartment itself was quiet. Ariana is a friendly, helpful host. It was a pleasure meeting her and we're glad we chose her apartment for our visit.

It includes a combustion heater inside for the chilly evenings and an air conditioner for warm summer nights. Remote getaways to beautiful, natural landscapes don’t get much more luxurious.
Our tiny house "Arabella" is set on a 140-acre property on the edge of the Cambewarra Ranges, at a former dairy farm named Cloudbreaker Falls, located two hours’ drive south from Sydney and Canberra, and 15 minutes outside the township of Kangaroo Valley. Hidden in a forest clearing surrounded by tall dense bushland, Arabella is an idyllic escape set amongst abundant wildlife and pristine natural surrounds with numerous vantage points within walking distance to view the valley below. Abundant wildlife includes Wombats of all shapes and sizes, a few families of echidnas, Kangaroos at dawn and dusk, endless Kookaburras and other birds, and an inquisitive mischievous Lyrebird named David (who mimics everything from a chainsaw to a rhythm and blues harmonica). There’s a dam stocked with native yabbies (beautiful eating if you can catch them) and frogs (probably less so – but we haven’t yet tried) and frequent visits from the neighbouring farmer’s sheep and cows. • Such an amazing place where we were able to immerse ourselves in nature and turn our minds off from technology. Highlights were the beautiful bathroom, the wombats at night (so shy and cute), and the visit from the pigs and donkeys in the morning. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

    Phuong2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a magical place - we got the best of both worlds with some beautiful sunny and clear mornings and some gloomy, cloudy mornings up the top of this mountain, hidden in the bushes. We were also lucky to visit after a big rainfall, with the grass all lush and green and the flowers blooming. Such a tranquil spot, especially with the stunning bathroom. The bed was super comfy, especially for a loft, and the deck was the perfect place to sit with some gin. Phillip and Arabella were hilarious to deal with, such wonderful people who informed us all about the Kangaroo Valley Show and helped us with some great local tips. We even got to feed their pigs! Will definitely be returning, but probably with a 4WD to get up that steep driveway.

  • MAGICAL. It’s hard to find words to describe this gem of a place. To say we LOVED our stay here is an understatement. What a place; from the most incredible smartly designed cabin, to the most thoughtful, beautiful little touches (the books, the games, the quality speaker, side lamp), the most amazing, cutest fireplace. Very well stocked little, functional kitchen which pretty much has everything you could think of. Just bring the food and you find all the necessary appliances and kitchenware. The cabin is a dream, but the bath is another whole level, surrounded by the bush. Just magical. We wish we could stay there forever. The beautiful, peaceful, and incredible sound of nature was a bliss. And Philip and Arabella, both so welcoming, kind, hospitable, and communicative. Always available to help, they came up under heavy rain and helped us a good few times. If you’re thinking of a place to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, THIS is your place. Book it in. We loved it and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much Philip and Arabella for the most amazing stay.

Sitting on the porch with the beautifully designed accordian glass doors open and a steaming glass of hot tea was the best experience ever! If only we can cook our meals in the pod, and we will hide away in the vanilla pod forever :) the luxurious compost toilet was also an interesting experience for us!

The kitchenette was well equipped to cook a few meals during our stay, with a few supermarkets close by. Location is a minute walk to the tram stop which connects you to the rest of the city, or there are several cafes/restaurants in the neighborhood.

The place has all the creature comfort we needed: very comfortable bed for a restful sleep, silence, fully equipped kitchen (no microwave oven, but it was not missed), clean bathroom amenities, and a warm welcome. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Hobart again. Next time, we'll make the best of our stay and take on the walking tracks of Mount Wellington!

Newly renovated, clean and modern, with the lovely Byron bay charm you'd expect without being amongst the hustle and bustle of town. Great for a single or couple looking for the perfect escape!
The studio is completely detached from the main house giving you extreme privacy, your own entrance, also with undercover deck with outdoor setting perfect for breakfast sitting and having a drink watching the sunset. Please note that this accommodation is not suitable for babies or children due to the location of the Bungalow on our property and potential noise to carry to our neighbours.
It's a beautiful quiet end of street which is close to a bush reserve, perfect for long nature walks, as well as being close to shops and (URL HIDDEN) of the best streets in Suffolk Park, with plenty of parking.
  • Beautiful little private place. Super close to bus stop, and a very good bakery Would stay here again :)

    Dorsa2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Modern, clean and had basically everything we needed including a nice garden area to have breakky. Loved the information booklet provided. Was a bit humid/hot, and we failed to notice the extra fan in the closet which definitely would have helped. Very accommodating hosts. Overall an amazing experience. Thank you so much.

    Natasha2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay and we will return as a great location. Not far from town but close to some quieter beaches

    Lloyd2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The only thing that could improve this place is an air conditioner - everything else was perfection and we had a lovely time!

  • Great little cozy place. Fantastic host and location.

    Stefano2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Toni’s ! Beautiful clean space and even without AC we were comfortable in the heat and humidity. Suffolk Park was convenient to Byron without being in the hustle and bustle-the Mexican restaurant was delicious and just walking distance from the bungalow. Coffees nearby from the bakery were delicious. Thank you so much, we would highly recommend this stay and will definitely stay again if we are ever up that way in the future

    Michelle2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This accommodation is brilliant if you want a weekend in Byron and to immerse yourself right into the life of a Byron local. The space itself is exactly how it is portrayed in the images - beautiful, clean, airy and modern. It is a joy to come home to at the end of a tiring day. The bed is really comfortable, the shower nice and hot and the porch really clean. Also only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Also, the bakery which is less than a few minutes stroll away was what got us out of bed each morning - the pastries, sandwiches, coffee and buzz was amazing and we genuinely miss this place! Where the bakery is located is a great little hub with other eateries and shops and you could easily spend the morning people watching or reading. Also there is a bus stop near here also which takes you directly into Byron so all very convenient. Would definitely recommend this stay and would definitely come back myself

  • This is a small, charming, incredibly well put together flat. It’s not a luxury apartment, but everything is considered, and it is a pleasure to stay in. It’s also on a lovely, leafy street in a beautiful part of Melbourne. I would definitely stay again.

  • Vincent’s place in East Melbourne made for a perfect urban weekend adventure. Great location with easy reach to the CBD and also Richmond/Collingwood areas for the typical inner Melb character, whilst the street was upmarket, classy and quiet even with a major road nearby. The place was really well designed and with all the things you need. Neighbours footsteps were audible but not at all distracting, with earbuds available if needed. A great stay!! Thanks Vincent!

This is an off-grid, self-sufficient, self contained, Earthship studio apartment in the semi-rural Adelaide Hills, 45min drive from the CBD. Guests will experience a unique stay with a tiny eco-footprint. Close to Adelaide Hills wineries, golf course, bush-walks and other tourist attractions. The Freney family live next door in a passive solar strawbale home - close by if you need advice on sailing the "ship". A place where you can experience the future of sustainable housing!
Guests will need to respect the limitations of the off-grid systems for power, water and sewage and take care with the natural building finishes. The queen size bed is a 100% latex futon mattress, low to the ground so it may be difficult to get in and out of bed if you are elderly. Sheets are luxurious 1200 TC pure cotton. Delicious vegetarian breakfast ingredients, including free range eggs and honey from the property, supplied (but not prepared/served). Kitchen includes double gas burner, under bench fridge (with tiny freezer compartment), microwave and wood oven which is great for making pizzas (although not recommended for use during summer months). Fire wood is supplied from May to October.
The neighbourhood is semi-rural with lots of small "farms" where people raise chooks and grow fruit, veg, and flowers. You are likely to see and hear native animals such as kangaroos and koalas. Local attractions include wineries, golf courses, restaurants and bush walking trails.
  • We had a lovely stay at the Earthship. It was great to see how it was constructed and experience a more sustainable living. View was amazing, bed super comfy and the greenhouse a living dream. Would love to stay again.

    Louise2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The earthship was incredible, from the first sight of it the attention to detail was amazing. But walking in doors on a 37 degree day the green house was thriving and the living area was a cool 21 degree. The earthy floors allowed us to feel grounded immediately and relaxed. The food provided was organic produce of the best quality, the bed is of the highest standard to allow a truly enjoyable stay. Great bathroom facilities, the water gets both very hot and cold which is perfect for practicing Naturopathic Hydrotherapy techniques. It was a relaxing property with plenty of wild blackberries to pick. On the second day it was 43 degrees outside but still 21 degrees in the living area. The earthship has an incredible design and we will be going back in winter to see how it functions in the cooler months, The 2 nights was not enough, we returned home to a hot bungalow and wished we were in the cool earthship. Thank you!! We Highly Recommend!

    Lachlan2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a must to stay. Simply AMAZING. Loved everything about it. Loved the wild life that visited including the koala that would visit every day. The views all around are just beautiful. Stayed in Summer would also love to visit in Winter too.

    Sandra2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a truly unique opportunity to stay in an Earthship and experience how calming and peaceful it is. Learning the principles through reading the information available enabled us to learn and gain an understanding of how clever this system really is. The outlook is gorgeous and the ambience within the building made from recycled and natural materials makes you feel calm and recharged. I loved the rendered walls with their niches and soft corners, the patterns and light coming in through the bottle walls as well as the beautiful coloured glass terrazzo floor in the entrance and the bathroom. We will be sure to spread the word about our experience and are looking forward to bringing some of the principles in to our everyday life. We are grateful for this opportunity and admire the work you are doing to enable ourselves and others gain a deeper understanding of sustainable living techniques through the workshops you run and being able to stay in the Earthship.

    Nici2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic experience staying in this awesome earthship. So different from any accommodation out there and Zoe and Martin have made the place so comfortable and welcoming. I felt relaxed and grounded the whole time and really enjoyed the healthy food provided for breakfast. I highly recommend you go.

    Jane2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Earthship is an absolute dream! Honestly the best Airbnb we have been to, it absolutely exceeded expectations which we didn’t think was possible after ready the reviews and descriptions but it was honestly perfect and wouldn’t change a thing ! I miss the place already, was beyond what I could’ve wanted or hoped for! Thank you for everything, every little touch was perfect. For those unsure, please do yourselves a favour and stay here. You won’t regret it and you’ll be amazed at this unique building !

    Georgia2019-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • The host was gracious enough to allow my son and his partner stay instead of us, unfortunately he could only stay for one night but said it was great

    Brian2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely beautiful place treated with a lot of care! Everything was considered and the earthship exceeded all our expectations, a truly lovely stay that grounded us. We can’t wait to come back and live this little off grid life again!

Enjoy a romantic break on the wonderful Mornington Peninsula. We are being EXTREMELY thorough with our cleaning throughout this crisis & are sanitising every single surface, switch, handle, right down to the coat hangers. Our beautiful cottage overlooking the picturesque dam is perfect for couples looking for time out to enjoy each others company. Explore the beautiful Mornington Peninsula or just stay in & relax in this lovely peaceful environment.
This is a beautiful cottage which has been converted from an original farm building. The cottage is charmingly rustic inside, lined with whitewashed rough planks but very spacious & tastefully furnished. There is a large bedroom with a very comfortable queen size four poster bed (made by my husband), dining area & huge living area. There is a large split system to keep you cool in summer & warm in winter. Enjoy the stunning views over the dam & beautiful gardens all around. Feel the serenity! This is the perfect retreat for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Nothing to do here except enjoy each others company! There is a deck at the front with table & chairs overlooking the dam. The bathroom has a bath with shower & there is a kitchenette with microwave, under bench fridge, kettle, toaster, small electric frypan & crockery etc but no cooktop. It is not 5 star accommodation but it is very charming, comfortable & very relaxing.
The Mornington Peninsula is a little bit of Paradise just 55 minutes from Melbourne and we are right at the gateway to it. It is 15 minutes to Mornington if you want to swim in the bay or 20 minutes to Point Leo if you are looking for surf. It is a 20 minute drive to the Red Hill market or to any of the wineries. The nearest golf course is the Devil Bend club just 8 minutes away and only 5 minutes to the famous Tyabb Packing shed antique centre. There are numerous places for horse riding very close by. Come here for the peace & tranquility of the location but please note that there are no nearby shops or restaurants. We have a small local shopping centre 5 minutes away with a great fish & chip shop but apart from that, note that this is a rural location & you will have to drive at least 15 minutes to get to any cafes or restaurants. You are really spoilt for choice with great dining choices on the Mornington Peninsula. Some of our favourites are Port Philip Estate for stunning views with great food & wine. Foxeys Hangout for cellar door with beautiful small plates. Panton in Red Hill for cellar door with tasting plates & spectacular views over the vineyards. (Casual & relaxed) The Epicurean in Red Hill for fantastic pizza & really good coffee. Merricks General Store for great food & coffee & atmosphere.
  • Such a beautiful little spot to relax, a charming well styled cottage with all the essentials. The grounds are beautiful, such a lovely spot to wake up in. The place was spotless, had beautiful bedding with a very comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. Check in was easy as was check out. Host was very responsive and helpful :) we will be back!

  • Jo’s place was exactly as we expected and had been lead to expect. It was clean, spacious, easy to access and - given somewhat miserable weather - a nice place to laze away a rainy few days.

  • Great space with amazing views. Perfect for couples, short walk to the beach, the general store and the pub. Very comfortable space, great bed and the bath has a perfect vantage point. The view is spectacular and we never got over it.

    Bernie2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely breathtaking views and incredibly luxurious house. The bath, deck and fireplace were a few of the highlights. The owner did seem to have issue with people coming and going, which was uncomfortable as it was our wedding. However, we couldn't fault the property and would stay again.

    Jordan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The most amazing property, can’t fault it the views are outstanding didn’t want to leave. It seems to be owned and run by a ghost though as there was zero communication.

    Louise2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing views, made our weekend extra special! Thanks for creating a wonderful space

    Dan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Private, quiet and picturesque. Saw kangaroos, koalas, stingrays, dolphins and parakeets regularly over the four days. Gardens were being updated and a new private beach track added to the qtmosphere. We met the owners who were lovely and keen to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back next year.

    Janette2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing for a couples get away. The view is second to none. The space inside was perfect for what we were after on the final leg of our trip. Being the final leg and with million dollar views we were looking forward to soaking up the views from the balcony but unfortunately the pictures weren’t accurate at all, there were 2 plastic chairs and a small table big enough for a couple of drinks and an ash tray. Also the renovation next door cutting timber was a bit of a drag but overall this place is mint. The general store is great, as is the pub. The wildlife was awesome ( koalas, cockatoos, many bird species)We would recommend this place anytime. Hopefully the seating becomes a bit more fitting of the location soon. Todd

    Todd2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • What a special place. Amazing views. A great space to read, relax and enjoy the water and wildlife views.

    Kelly2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • That view is as good as it gets! Simply stunning private home that we did not want to leave during our stay. The brand new bathroom renovation was beautiful and modern. Bluetooth speaker and strong WiFi were also appreciated. Tons of wildlife around the property, and we even saw a koala in a tree right next to the house (we aren’t from Australia, so this was a real treat for us)! Amazing space, and highly recommend, you will definitely not regret staying here! We hope to return here again!

We are close to the beach, walks, and there is a Merimbula Wharf very close for fishing and a restaurant (night time is seasonal) We are well located close to Merimbula Airport, the town centre but most importantly great beaches and surf breaks as well as calmer coves and option for those who prefer flat water.
  • We have now stayed at Sally’s beautiful studio twice and both times have been blown away by her hospitality and the great lengths she goes to to ensure her guests have an enjoyable stay. The studio is in a great location, is clean and tidy and has the most wonderful view of the ocean from the window.

Quambi's Cabin is located only 250m from shops restaurants and tavern of Suffolk park and in easy reach to public transport, yet tucked away with a lovely outlook into palms and forest. A 600m walk to reach unspoilt Tallow beach or direct access to bushwalk through to either untouched Taylors lake, or famous Broken Head Beach. You’ll love Quambi's cabin because of the cosiness, quality furnishings, and the beautiful outlook. This is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
'Quambi' means 'resting place' in the local Aboriginal language and the cabin is a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle, yet only 250m walk to Suffolk Park shops and 600m walk to Tallows beach. The newly renovated cabin offers a large undercover deck looking into the trees and palms. The space is suitable for couples, travelling friends or solo travelers. Please note, max of 2 guests only permitted in the cabin and in order to maintain peace and quiet on our property, we prefer only adults (no children or infants please). Inside the fully equipped kitchenette caters for easily making your own breakfasts, lunch or small meals - it includes a 2 burner electric plug in hotplate, toaster oven, microwave, jug toaster, minibar fridge with freezer, pots, pans, cooking implements etc. We also supply basic some condiments, tea, coffee, milk etc. The brand new bathroom offers luxury fittings and a monsoon shower head and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soaps, sewing kits, shower caps, hair dryer, straighteners etc). We also supply beach towels so no need to travel with your own (we know how bulky and annoying it can be to BYO beach towel!) There is a brand new smart TV in the lounge area connected to Netflix if you wish to chill and catch up on films or TV series. The queen sized bed features a very comfortable mattress, high quality linen and 4 pillows (we are very fussy about pillows and know bad pillows can ruin a nights sleep!) Laundry facilities are available - shared with ourselves, the laundry is outside on the deck of our house (separate to the cabin) and we are happy for guests to use this and our supplied laundry products during the daytime.
Suffolk Park is a vibrant community 5km south of Byron Bay set on beautiful unspoilt Tallow Beach. There is a great pub, a couple of restaurants and great café/bakery as well as supermarket, chemist and gym just 250m walk from our property. To get into Byron it's a flat 5km bike ride or 5 minute drive. Other options are to take a bushwalk through beautiful aboriginal reserve bushland opposite the property to a hidden tea tree lake and unspoilt Tallows and Broken Head beaches. The nearest beach is only 600m walk from our property.
  • A cute as can be cabin in a delightful setting. Easy walking to a great pub, bakery and the beach.

    Christine2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Quambi's cabin was a great weekend day away for us, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to relax. An easy walk to local Suffolk Park shops and restaurants, and quick drive to Byron Bay. We would happily stay again. Thanks!

    Aaran2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • I last stayed in 2017, everything was the same & this was a good thing. Lovely little cabin in a rainforest setting. Comfortable bedding, lovely bathroom, kitchenette had everything needed, outdoor covered area. Walking distance to local shops/restaurants & beach. Perfect stay.

    Lisa2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Nicely tucked away, but close to beaches and dining. Quiet and finely appointed. Highly recommended.

    Niles2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cabin, close to beaches and shops! Friendly hosts and dog!

    Brad2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great little spot! Super comfy and still private enough to feel like it was our own. We met Damien when we arrived and he gave us some great tips, and although we didn't need to, he made sure we knew he was available for anything we needed. We had a car, so can't comment on public transport, but it was easy to get into Byron and the surrounds, while still feeling like you were in the middle of the rainforest. It was nice to wake up to the sounds of nature and I'd highly recommend this place if you're visiting the area!

    Steve2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I are super grateful for all of Georgie and Damien’s amazing and thoughtful tips; our Byron experience wouldn’t have been the same without! The cabin was perfect ... ideal location, complete privacy, immersed in beautiful greenery and cosy (we were so sad to leave!!). If you’re looking for a peaceful stay that is close to the action of the main street, walking distance to amenities, but also having gorgeous private beaches minutes away then their place is a winner!

    Sabrina2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little cottage, very handy (walking distance) to beach, lake and shops. We didn't need our car the whole time. Would recommend staying there to any couples looking for a relaxing break.

Every season in the Adelaide Hills has it's own beauty. It's proximity to Adelaide and easy transport routes means you are often in the city faster than if you live in the suburbs. Likewise a lack of traffic and open roads give us easy access to the wine regions and southern beaches making it a great base to get around.
  • It was a truly unique experience, surrounded by cows, sheep and even a kangaroo. It felt we were miles from the hustle of the city, allowing us to really relax.

    Stuart2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved staying here I could have moved here for life!

    Emily2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, peaceful, private retreat a few minutes from Hahndorf Town. Loved every minute of our two night stay, only wishing we had booked longer. The breakfast hamper included in our stay was sufficient & delicious- the milk was udderly amazing, it had cream on top!!! We enjoyed using the beautiful bath on the balcony, respiting in the tranquility of this property. The resident cows were a welcome enjoyment, and the ability to feed them from a little bag of goodies left by the owner was thoughtful. The bedroom was comfortable, with lovely bedsheets, comfortable bed & pillows. The dressing gowns were a great inclusion & came in very handy for the midnight dashes to the loo! The little kitchen/lounge room was well equipped, however champagne glasses would have been great. All in all our stay here was fabulous, the little thoughtful inclusions were great & we would highly recommend to book in a few nights here.

    Jason2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at the TinyHome. Place is just like the pictures and very homely. The cows are also very friendly 🙂 Highly recommend booking a stay here .

  • Could not recommend this place high enough, perfect quiet location close to Hahndorf and not too far from Adelaide cbd. The highlight was definitely feeding the cows in the morning!! Will definitely consider staying again if in the area.
