A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

Joukojärven pirtti Hossassa

Hossan kansallispuisto avautuu mökin edustalle. Mökki sijaitsee rauhallisen Joukojärven rannalla. Mökki rakennettu perinteitä kunnioittaen 1890-luvulla veistetystä rakennuksesta. Lämmityksestä huolehtii vuolukivileivin uuni ja kaksi hellaa. Sähköt tuotetaan aurinkoenergialla vain pimeimpinä kuukaisina ladataan akkuja aggrekaatilla. Puulämmitteinen sauna samassa rakennuksessa. Ulko wc on kompostoitu ja hajuton. Kainuun luontoretket vuokraa sähköläskipyöriä, liukulumikenkiä ja melontakalustoa.
