From Varildgården there are great day trips to Charlottenberg, swimming or skiing in Torsby, Badeland and Selma Lagerlöf's spa in Sunne or a trip to Rotneros park. Newer cabin of 136 m2 located on the east side of Odalen's pearl, Storsjøen. Here you can enjoy your vacation with family or friends. It is a peaceful little cottage area with about 50 cottages. Short distance to the lake for swimming, fishing and other water activities. Storsjøen is shallow and has high bathing temperatures of about 22-26 degrees. The area has 2 beaches, a long beach that is suitable for toddlers and one with more depth for the slightly larger ones. There are also many hiking trails to explore and small fishing waters in Odalen.

Closed child-friendly area where only residents have access to the road barrier. In summer, there is the possibility of swimming, fishing or hiking on prepared trails. With a canoe you can visit several islands in the lake. Free loan of canoe. The cabin is only a 1 hour drive from Gardermoen Airport.
