What a lovely townhouse and such a great greeting from Marthese. The house was absolutely perfect and we were really sad to leave. Thanks so much we really enjoyed our stay. Only thing we did find a problem was that the recommended driver charged us €25 for our trip to sliema and dropped us off in the wrong place despite us asking to get out earlier as we could see on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps that they were taking us the wrong way. Our trip back later that evening with a local taxi was only €17. Just a small blip in what was a great trip! Would highly recommend this apartment as somewhere quiet and peaceful to enjoy Malta from ☺️

A really unique and special place to stay which gives you the opportunity to explore Malta and feel a small part of it during your stay . The location is perfect and the opportunity to experience Mdina at night , when lots of the tourists have left is a real bonus . Ian and Marta were warm and welcoming and could not have been more helpful. This in itself makes it a great place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble and for that we were so grateful. We travelled with 2 small children ( 6 and 7) and although it was absolutely fine for us, the uniqueness and layout of the property may not suit really young children. For a couple just perfect. Thank you so much again for such an enjoyable time .

We had a great getaway. Loved the house, which had a really charming historic quality to it. Hosts left the kitchen with little treats, and Marthese even showed us around the area. We could walk to the walled city, which was very enjoyable, and a little shop in the area makes pastizzis 24/7!

Ian's home is one of the coolest places we have stayed. The neighborhood and neighbors were all very friendly and it was a nice spot away from the party scene. If you want to do daytrips and see different beaches and sights in Malta, rent a car and stay here it was perfect.

This house is a true historical Maltese house which is located in a wonderful quiet neighbourhood. The close proximity to Mdina is perfect and plenty of lovely restaurants around for some great local fare. Thoroughly recommend Ian's house as a wonderful base from which to explore Malta!
