Davaar was a beautiful and spacious home for our large family to kick back and relax. The house was fully equipped for our needs, excellent Wifi and had a very warm, homely feel about it. Fiona's description of the property was accurate and communication prompt and friendly. We felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable and very quiet home. We stay 3 nights. The sunrises and such sets made the house feel cozy. Very well equipped too.

An absolute gem that we would definite come back to. We had just two nights in this spacious and well-appointed home. The home's atmosphere is casual and very open and spacious. We cooked in three times and find all that we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed beautiful views including pink, cotton candy sunsets. A really special place to get some solitude and relaxation. Fiona was super responsive and made the whole process (booking, checking in, departing) seamless and delightful. It's a short drive (15-20 minutes) to Te Anau or Manapouri if you want to pick up groceries or dine out so very well situated yet off the beaten path.

Fiona's place was perfect for us. We had cycled the 'around the mountains trail' and found Fiona's place very relaxing as it provided a very clean and comfortable abode in a gorgeous countryside setting.
