The space
The holiday apartment is located in the annex of our farmhouse and has its own entrance. The 60 m² living space radiates through the many wood great comfort. Here you will find a wonderful retreat to just let your soul wander. The apartment is divided into a bedroom with a large double bed, a room with two single rooms, a small bathroom with shower, a living room with pull-out couch and satellite TV, a cozy dining area with corner bench, a kitchen with full equipment (electric stove, oven,fridge with freezer, dishwasher, kettle, filter coffee machine and capsule coffee machine, microwave, bread box and complete equipment for cooking), a separate toilet and an anteroom. In front of the apartment there is a veranda with a large table and two benches, where you can have breakfast. Speaking of breakfast: from Monday to Saturday, the baker delivers the pastries to the front door of the apartment and you can get your breakfast fresh from the chicken nest of our happy chickens. For children, the colorful eggs that our chickens lay are really an experience! So that they can be brought into the apartment undamaged, we have placed an egg basket in the kitchen:-)

Of course, there are table and bed linen as well as hand and bath towels in the apartment, which we also provide (included in the price). Even for your car we offer you a covered parking space, which you can use free of charge. Should you ever have laundry to wash, you can do so at a surcharge of EUR 5, - per wash.

On our farm the chickens also live two horses, two dogs and two hangovers. We also have a small gym, but also a few bicycles that you can borrow, for example, to take a bike tour on the Drauranweg or just to explore the surrounding area.

In the center of Gallicia there is a grocery store (savings market), a hairdresser, an inn (there is very good coffee and also the pizzas and burgers we can recommend), a café (right next to the savings market), a bank, a parish church, the municipal office and a village square with fountain. Just outside the center there is a good country inn, where barbecues with all-you-can-eat are always offered on Fridays in July and August. Nearby is also the Wildenstein Waterfall - with 54 m drop height the highest free-falling waterfall in Europe. Directly below it, a Flying Fox course was opened in July 2020, archery is also offered. In the district of Vellach there is an Iceland pony farm where riding lessons can be taken and horseback riding can be booked. We also recommend hikes to the surrounding mountain peaks such as the Hochobir, the Oistra, the Topitza, the Carinthian Storschitz or the Petzen.
