This is a really special place in a really special location. So peaceful and relaxing and a great jumping off point for hiking in Joshua Tree National Park. Loved the outdoor shower and the stars at night!

A very special cabin - both remote and accessible. Jay met us at check-in to give us the "ins and the outs" of the cabin, and other helpful tips regarding our stay. Would stay there again!

This space lives up to the rave reviews. Jay & Stephanie are genuinely outstanding. They were responsive and they really care/are knowledgeable about their community. Scenery is amazing for sunrise and sunset and just being outside in general. Close to Joshua Tree National Park A…

This was by far one of the coolest places my fiancé and I have ever stayed. The house itself was cozy and charming and the surrounding land was beautiful. We were able to enjoy some much needed solitude and silence. We also loved the heated outdoor shower! Stephanie and Jay were …

Response from Stephanie And Jay:
Leo, your reservation was for 2 people. You showed up with 3. We could not accommodate 3 people on short notice; nor do we allow guests to choose how many guests they want to bring and force us to accept whatever they want to do. This is standard Airbnb practice. Your behavior was disappointing. We welcome families, but as with all bookings, the nature (and number) of the party should be agreed upon ahead of time.

We were looking for a secluded getaway that offered simplicity and beauty. Stephanie and Jay’s charming restored homestead fit the bill. Thank you for a great stay and easy communication.
