Mountain trails and magnificent Mt. Sopris view, Large outdoor campfire & grill for nighttime fun & stargazing under the Milky Way. Private entrance to the BLM, hike or bring your mountain bike ! Wrap around porch & deck with barbecue grill. Picnic at The Running Moon Tipi - a little secret spot to relax. Rescued horses surround the cabin. 5 minutes to town, 20 to Glenwood springs- 30 to Aspen! Great home Base for your Colorado vacation. Lock box , manual inside, property manager on site.

The space
Voted in the , " The Week " magazine as one of the , " Homes with the best views of Mt Sopris ! "! Tons of perks, open spaces with vaulted ceilings; the Cabin also has an awesome wrap- around porch for relaxing , star-gazing or cooking out! The Ranch is home to 5 happy rescued horses just feet from your windows.

The outdoor spa area located at the main Cabin ( shared area ) has a crystal energized / mineral hot tub ( winter months only 0ct thru June 1st.) , large bear-claw bath tub, SHARED SPACE.

We have added a SELF CHECK IN lock box , a manual inside with all you need to know regarding property rules as well as our top favorite spots you may enjoy while visiting Colorado. ( lockbox starts sept 1st. , Host will check you in till that date. '

Staying here on Angels Camp helps pay for the feed and care of our horses. Some of our Horses are in Arizona at Penny's Bunkhouse in Apache Junction , another great Farm Stay we offer on airbnb. Thank you for your support and we hope you love your stay in Colorado !

The Ranch hands live in the Chalet for any emergency if it should arise. If you want a stargazing campfire please check with the host first before building a fire. We will have notification posted if there is a Fire Ban in place, or if the wind is too high for safety.

There are two ranch dogs that protect the property DRIVE SLOW :)

We kindly ask if you are bringing your own Dog you follow our Camp doggie rules listed below.

There is an extra security and cleaning fee for those traveling with dogs. The fee is 50 dollars; it goes to our cleaning lady for the extra time /work from pet clean-up. It's ok if they are not on a leash but you must accompany your Dog and pick up. If you decide to walk down the dirt road, they must be leashed and be sure to stay on the Angels Camp road so not to enter onto neighboring farms. DO NOT TURN TOWARDS THE BARN OFF THE DIRT ROAD. It's private property, just a head-up. There are signs to the trails and the hot-tub with all your rules inside the house manual. Please do not speed.

You must crate your Dogs if you leave the Cabin. Pets are not allowed on the furniture for obvious reasons. Thank you. There are extra doggie blankets in the main closest if you need.

We love all animals, are not hunters nor do we promote animals for entertainment in any form.

We often have cookouts by , " Bud's Campfire ", you are welcome to join in the fun.

The Cabin is next to the barn: watching the horses let out in the mornings will take your breath away.

During your stay
We believe that our guests should have the space and privacy needed. However, we are a working rescue ranch, you will see and be close to the horses and all animals that live on this Camp, If you don't like animals this is not the place for you :)

We have CAMERAS on the property, both coming and going for the safety of our animals and camp! and a strict third party rule: it's simple , no extra guests without permission and no third party people coming and going.
