Please read on to get a feel of our place before your arrival :)

The entrance in itself is already a character - a simple hardwood gate lined with steel painted in black and the rest of the place is fenced with white stones carefully set atop each other.

Upon entering you will find a parking space that can accommodate up to 3 sedans and even right there, a glimpse of the Tanon Strait will warmly welcome you. The lush green and colorful little garden that our caretakers nurture daily are right by the side of the stairs to the house and all around it, instantly giving you that feeling of being one with nature. Upon arrival this view is sure to take one's stress and worries away, it has always worked for us and we hope that by sharing our home with you, we will also get to share the feeling of being stress-free brought about by the marvelous view of nature.

Our house is spacious enough to accommodate a big group, but also small enough so you can see your family and friends and really have a time to bond and enjoy meaningful, intimate conversations. On the right side of the house, is a traditional Filipino house made of nipa where our caretaker and her family resides; their house is separated from the main house to offer you full privacy, but we also made sure they are not too far, just near enough for you to call on them whenever you have any questions / help. On the left side of the house is our "Bali" hut, a little pavilion you can spend the afternoon in playing cards, charades, and other fun activities. Or if you want to maintain a relaxed atmosphere for the rest of your stay, the Bali hut is your perfect spot. No aircondition or fan needed, nature will take care of providing you with fresh air to refresh you not only physically, but also mentally and spiritually.

Ground Floor (Fun, Relaxation, Spending Time with Family and Friends)

The ground floor of the house is where the living, dining area and kitchen is located in an open floor plan and faces towards the magnificent view of the sea and sky. There is a balcony with a couple of statement furniture facing the sea as well. The half bath, loo, and powder room are accessible by going through the kitchen area. Don't worry, walkways in the kitchen to the loo and powder room are wide enough for everyone to pass through. For your entertainment, we have a Karaoke, a guitar, a chess board, and playing cards available at no extra cost!

Second Floor (Rest and Retreat)

You can traverse to the 2nd floor by climbing on the wide and shallow stairs. This is where we house accommodations, composed of 2 rooms:

Paulo's Room - 2 cozy single beds, a TV, and air conditioning. There is also a window made of glass that you can peek in to get a glimpse of the sea below. It is always such a beautiful place to wake up in with the view of the sea right in front.

Paulo's Dorm Room - 4 bunk beds, one single bed, and one sofa bed with pull-out. The room is also air conditioned and has a full balcony facing the sea. We will be providing extra mats to make sure everyone gets to sleep comfortably.

We do not have bathrooms for each of the rooms, however there is a shared bathroom on the same floor and a separate toilet.

Roof deck

The roof deck's main purpose is to give you the full view of the sea at the highest part of the house. It can also serve as a party center or a mini-camping site for you to star gaze at night. Yes, you can bring your own tents for free or rent one of ours (complete with mats, blankets, and pillows) at a minimal fee.

Front yard

The front yard is still a work in progress and is currently off-limits to our guests as we and our team continue to work our magic throughout the place to make it even better for you in the future. *hint* an azure infinity spot you can do morning laps in and where your kids can frolic. ;)

The Best Part: THE BEACH

Without a doubt, it is indeed the best part! From the moment you arrive and anywhere you go in the house you will be enveloped by the beauty of the sea and sky filled with cotton candy or feathery clouds. While the beach here may not be sandy like the ones in Moalboal or Badian, the waters are clear and clean. There are big rocks that you can step on when the tide is low and during high tide you can jump right into the water. We highly suggest you wear slippers or aqua shoes to protect your feet from rocks or stones. A few meters from the shore is the drop-off, please approach with caution at all times most especially during high tide as it can get from shallow to deep in just a few steps. There will be a warning device to let you know you've reached said drop-off.

We want you to enjoy our home as though they are your own and we want you to have fun and create memories that you can share in the times to come! For your complete enjoyment, it is imperative that our house rules are strictly followed and most especially the warning signs we put where necessary. Small children must be actively supervised at all times to avoid any untoward incidents.

Other Important Things to Note:

MEALS & KITCHEN

The house is situated in a rather secluded area, but also not very far away from the town proper - just about 2km away or even less. You are free to use the kitchen which is completely equipped with pots, pans, basic silverware and kitchen tos to cook your meal with your family. Cooking is a great way to bond, too! Just make sure to bring your ingredients ahead of time. If you didn't have time to do so, fret not, there is a public market (wet & dry goods) and supermarket less than 2km away where you can buy fresh food and ingredients.

BATH & TOILETRIES

We only have 1 and a half bath available in the house for now, however we are working to get more bathrooms set up outdoors for our guests' convenience. Please also take note we only have regular showers for now, no hot and cold option available yet.

We will be providing 2 towels per bathroom and highly recommend that our guests bring extra towels with them.

Shower gel, shampoo, and toothpaste will be provided. In our efforts to help sustain the environment and minimize our carbon footprint we will not be providing individually wrapped toiletries to our guests, instead we will be providing shampoo and shower gel bottle pumps. We would like to request for our guests to not take these bottles home. Please do bring your own toothbrushes, we know for sure it is most comfortable to use your own! If you forget to bring one, there are supermarkets and pharmacies nearby where you can get one.

PETS

We have one dog in the house which likes to stay outdoors. As of the moment, we do not allow our guests to bring pets in the house.

Location

Dumanjug, Central Visayas, Philippines

We are located in a sleepy fishing village about 73km south of Cebu. Life here is pretty simple and quiet, especially where the house actually is. There's about a 200m distance from the other houses at the location. In the house what you'll hear is the occasional passing by of motorcycles, but mostly you will only be soothed by the soft roaring of the waves as it crashes on the rocky beach and the gentle humming of the winds.

We have a stove and oven available for our guests to use at any time. If you want to buy fresh ingredients, the wet market is only less than 2km away. There is also a grocery and department store within the same distance. Pharmacies are available nearby as well. If you would prefer to eat out, the closest restaurants are available in Moalboal which is about 20km away or also equivalent to 30-40minutes of driving time.

The closest restaurant which serves good food with great ambience is Delcio'z Resto Cafe in Ronda - only about 10-15mins away from the property. They are open from 8AM-9PM and serves the best dragonfruit shake ! You can also buy dragonfruit straight from their farm :)

I am a mom of 3 little kids. I love the beach, road trips, music, Niall Horan, Coldplay, quirky stuff, pens, journals (even though I rarely write nowadays), colorful or beautifully decorated paper, exploring, singing, and my new found love - COOKING! My friends say I make mean Vietnamese Rolls, they especially love my homemade peanut sauce to pair it with - if you're interested and coming to town, let me know ahead so I can prepare one for you ;) I find happiness and satisfaction in helping others to the best of my ability. I love organizing tours for our guests and make sure that they only get the best out of their vacation! I value integrity, respect, diligence, hard-work, and authenticity. I am a firm believer of God and believe that everything that I have right now is a gift from HIM. If you plan to explore my city, hit me up with a message and I'll make sure you will return home with nothing but the best and most wonderful memories of Cebu. xX Tsin
