The Serenity Room is a private bedroom with shared common spaces and is equipped with 2 twins, balcony overlooking Lake Hartwell, and a shared bathroom. Breakfast is prepared on weekends with local and organic ingredients in part from our own farm. We invite you to explore the lake and take a tour of the Learning Center that we are building for inspiration and education for sustainability. Come experience the Treehouse community and surrounding area.

The space
Enjoy the Serenity Room at The Seneca Treehouse Project, a permaculture learning center helping each other live in harmony with our planet. We’re a B&B housing interns and young professionals in addition to our Airbnb guests. While your room is private, it is located in our Main House where there are additional rooms and residents. By staying with us, you’re helping build our learning center that will, upon completion, be a place for hands-on workshops, plus school and community tours. If you would like to book additional rooms please check out our other listings at the links below.

The main floor common area offers a TV with DVD player, a full kitchen, half bathroom, laundry room, spacious back porch, and a grill. Just bring yourself and your personals as we provide all linens and natural bath products. We look forward to serving you and sincerely appreciate your support!

During your stay
The Seneca Treehouse Project is home to our sustainable development company, Treehouse Internatural. We are an intentional community in a transition to live more sustainably. Feel free to ask questions and learn as much as you can while you are here. We are here to help. We regularly enjoy community meals, work days, and occasional bonfires. Our dog / groundskeeper, Malcolm, loves to play fetch and take walks with you to the lake, but please don’t entertain his desire to play with rocks as they’re bad for his teeth :) We let you choose: join in on the fun or have your own private getaway!
