Guests are welcome to use the sitting porch and enjoy the stillness, birds and views of an early 20th century farm. You can see the old smoke house, granary, chicken house, brooder house, ice house, corn crib, stable and our new apple and pear orchard.

I love meeting our guests and spending time with them if they are interested.

There's a little dorm size refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker with supplies in the room!

The immediate area is very rural and quiet; however, we are 20 minutes from Danville, VA, 25 minutes from the VIR, 40 minutes from Hillsborough and Greensboro, NC, 50 minutes from Durham, NC and an hour from Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU).

My husband and I retired and moved in 2015 from Raleigh, NC to my ancestral home where I grew up. It has been in my family since the 1820's. Bob enjoys wood working, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and golf. Rebecca plays pickleball...a lot(!) and promotes tourism. This farm will always be a work in progress! We enjoy being airbnb hosts, extending the same hospitality to others as we've had extended to us at airbnb's.
