Savour the peaceful atmosphere of Victoria in our 300 year-old town house in the heart of the old city center.
We offer accommodation in 4 Bedrooms all with en suite.
We do not serve breakfast since there are good cafes in Pjazza San Gorg which is only a few paces away.
This is the BALCONY ROOM, a double bedroom with a typical Maltese balcony and a ceiling with wooden rafters which is 17 courses high. Large and cosy and comfortably cool with newly installed (FREE) air-conditioning.
The double bedroom is indeed spacious and airy with a high ceiling and wooden beams. Its main feature is a typical antique closed wooden Maltese balcony. Fans are also available in Summer as well as a gas heater in the winter months.
MariaTownhouse welcomes groups of 6 to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms all with en suite.
Our guests are supplied with a key to the front door as well as a key to the room that they occupy so that movement in and out of the house is easy at all times.
Other things to note
At the same time we kindly request our guests to observe the simple House Rules and thank them in advance for their co-operation.
Our guests are kindly asked to regard our house as their temporary home, to take care of things and to refrain from disturbing others by unnecessary noise.
Keys are provided for the outside front door so guests are free to come and go at whatever time they choose.
We aim to make our Guests feel totally at home and to make their stay with us as enjoyable as possible as well as to ensure that they receive the best and full value for their money.
We recommend that our guests stay at least 2 nights since although small Gozo is really beautiful, life is so tranquil and easy-going and there is so much to see and savour.
I am Joseph, Guseppi in Maltese and I keep myself occupied by seeing that my flats are tidy and in order and ready to accommodate guests at any time of the year. I have been doing this for more than 30 years (with Airbnb since 2013) and I get satisfaction from seeing our guests enjoying their holiday through the good value for money that we endevour to give them.
I am thankful and proud to live in Gozo since although it is a very tiny island it is a great place to live in. I like to write about our Island of Quiet; in fact I manage a Website about Gozo ... ... and write about the history and folklore, the customs and legends and about how we live our life now at the present time. Look it up on ' rent a house in Gozo'.
My wife and I will be very happy to meet you when you're staying in our apartment/s and we are ready to pick you up at the Ferry when you arrive, if necessary.
Important Note: It sometimes happens that on arrival, our guests are unable to contact us or we to contact them owing to their losing their mobile or some fault in the service. If this happens, it is best to go to the nearest police station and ask the officer to call me. In Marsalforn, the Police Station is on the seafront near the Calypso Hotel and in Victoria it is in Republic Street.
Cheers:)) Joe (Guseppi)
