Our home is a modern and lovely 2 bedroom apt on the East Side of Providence with a charming terrace. Walk to restaurants, cafes, bars, cute shops, and wine stores. 2 miles to Brown & RISD, 3 miles to Downtown, Johnson & Wales and Providence College. The Hope Street Farmer's Market is at the end of our block every Saturday. Off-street parking is provided for 1 vehicle.
Our 2nd floor home is spacious, sunny, and very comfortable. It's the perfect place for any trip you may be planning. We even added a few extra amenities in-case you forgot them!
Enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace or chill and read a great book. Stay home and make dinner in the roomy kitchen with the cooking essentials you need. The living room is "Couch Potato Approved" with cozy furnishings, Cable TV, and Hi-Speed Wifi for your streaming apps.
We provide off-street parking for 1 vehicle. The driveway is long and very narrow at 90 inches wide (approximately 7-1/2 feet). It can easily fit 1 compact, mid-sized, or small SUV. Please confirm you car fits that criteria.
Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer in the basement of the house.
Interaction with guests
We live on the first floor and always respect the privacy of our guests. However, we are available if you need anything. We want you to have a memorable experience in Providence.
Other things to note
TODDLERS: Note that the apartment is not 100% toddler proof incase that is a priority for you.
BEDROOMS: The twin beds have firm mattresses and the queen bed has a medium mattress.
PARKING: The driveway is long and narrow then opens up in the back of the house. The driveway is 90 inches wide (approx 7-1/2 feet). It can easily fit 1 compact, mid-sized, or small SUV in 1 parking space. Guests must park their car all the way in the back and on the left side since we will need to pull out of the driveway.
Street parking is OK during the day but the City of Providence does NOT allow overnight street parking without a residential permit. You will get a ticket! It is very important that you plan ahead and confirm your vehicle width. Please contact us for any questions.
CHECKING OUT: Please follow these simple steps when checking out.
1) Strip bed and place flat sheet, fitted sheet, pillow cases, and used towels on top of the bed you used.
2) Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
3) Place trash in trashcans provided.
4) Return sandals into the hallway.
5) Lock the rear door by the kitchen.
6) Lock the front door when leaving.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES: Check-in 3pm. Check-out 11am. We apologize if we can't accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. We will try to meet your needs as best we can. However, during busy weeks we need the time to prep the apartment.
NO SHOES PLEASE: We have a "Shoes-Off" policy for the apartment. We ask guests to take off their shoes before entering our home to help maintain cleanliness and preserve its enjoyment for future guests. Indoor sandals are provided for our guests if needed.
LAUNDRY: Laundry is available in the basement. Hours are Mon-Fri 9am-8pm, Sat-Sun 11am-8pm.
TEMPORARY RENTAL: Both parties (guests and homeowner) agree that this is a temporary rental of less than a month (unless this is pre-arranged with the homeowner) and is not considered a tenancy.
We love Airbnb and we look forward to visiting more locations in the future. I studied in Paris, lived in Germany and travelled extensively through Europe and Asia for work and pleasure. I've met countless people who welcomed me and made me feel at home through their kind hospitality.
