At the dawn of the last century, during the reign of D. Carlos I, Solar da Motta took shape.
The Solar was acquired by Norberto Pinto da Motta, a famous florist from the city of Niterói in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In 2014, the house was restored by his great-granddaughter, maintaining all of its original traces.
