The home is located in the City of Newburgh, a town in the midst of a renaissance on the Hudson River, just 65 miles north of New York City.

Our townhouse is located in Newburgh's historic district, driving distance to restaurants, galleries, cafes and more. You’ll love the mid-century decor in the open-plan living space and light-filled bedrooms, as well as the well-stocked, stylish kitchen.

The space

Your Hudson Valley hideout is a perfect blend of old and new. With original 6” wood plank floors, period brick fireplace and vintage treasures throughout, it's a mid-century modern retreat for design lovers, in a town full of historic charm.

Wake up the right way with a fix from our coffee bar – including fresh coffee - after a great night’s sleep in the bedrooms (a master with en suite and Queen bed; the other two with double and single beds and backyard views). The bedrooms feature a cool monochrome palette, the master bath is awash in luxe all-white tiles, while the sleek chef’s kitchen has a grey backsplash, breakfast bar and aged wood dining table (seating 6) - all flooded with natural light.

Linger over the New York Times, delivered to your door on Saturday and Sunday. Will it be a history tour or wine-tasting today? Gallery-hopping or hiking? Your choice.
When it’s time to get cozy, there are retro games, free wi-fi and Netflix waiting for you. Sink into the couch in front of the fireplace (it's non-functional, but big candles add all the flickering light needed for a romantic night) and enjoy our home's laid-back designer style.

This home made us fall in love with the Hudson Valley – we know it’ll do the same for our guests.

Guest access

We will contact you prior to your arrival to give you the access code for the front door. You'll have full access to the house (except basement), including the backyard in the summertime.

Make yourself at home.

Interaction with guests

We will not be on-site, but you can contact us for non-emergency situations. Call Yani on her cell phone on. In the event of an emergency, guests should contact the police or appropriate authorities.

Other things to note

Newburgh, often referred to a “New York’s other City”, is a city steeped in history dating back to the revolutionary war. Organizations such as Newburgh Restoration and Habitat for Humanity are working hard to restore the downtown to it’s former glory. Local artists and businesses are moving the City of Newburgh toward a Renaissance. Please take the time to research the area before booking.

The space is a townhouse, although having separate entrances to the home, it does share a porch with our neighbors.

Also, please note that a cat sometimes resides in the home. We deep clean the home after every guest however, cat dander does linger.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Yani's & Ash's home. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. It has lovely surroundings with lots of interesting history and close to everything else you might need. Also, there was lots of games and books to read. Highly recommended!

Yani's place is fantastically decorated, a great find for the money, and a perfect place for a weekend getaway outside the city! A few friends and I stayed at the house this last weekend for a wedding we were in town for, and the house exceeded all of our expectations. The neighborhood is not the best, but we all felt very safe at the house and would stay again! Yani is very prompt with responses and check in and check out we're a breeze!

Our stay at Yani’s was perfect. The house is beautiful, clean, and so many added touches to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We were impressed by the kitchen-equipped with everything you need to make home cooked meals, including spices, condiments, coffee etc. Yani communicated quickly and clearly with us. We would definitely recommend this home to others and hope to return again soon.

Yani's house is beautiful! Perfect for a family! Short walk to cafes on Liberty Street. Short drive to miles and miles of trails and world-class art at Dia, Storm King, and Magazzino. It was fun to explore Newburgh.

The home was beautiful! The layout was comfortable, we had everything we needed and Yani accommodated our special requests. She has a great binder at her home with information about the area. We were very comfortable and close to the activities we wanted to visit. There were some street noises that you would expect being in a city, but we would recommend this property and the owners highly.

This place is a gem! The house itself is lovely, exactly as pictured. The rest of the surrounding neighborhood is still yet to be renovated, but it’s completely safe, and a great jumping off point to explore surrounding areas. It’s very central if you have a car - easy to get to Beacon, wineries in Marlboro, and hiking Mt Beacon. And the host is very responsive - we had one issue getting into the house, and they were super quick to respond and resolve. I’d definitely recommend, and would also stay again. Thanks for everything, Yani!
