Colonial Pines is a timeless piece of history along the beautiful Winnipesaukee shores in Center Harbor Bay. Family owned and operated for sixty years. The lodge, four seasonal one bedroom cottages and one year round 2 bedroom cabin along with the boathouse make up the character of this resort property.

The space
Simple cottage charm. Knotty pine interior. Cottage #4 accommodates up to four guests. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed, nightstand, bureau, chair and closet. The living room has a trundle bed which can be set up as two twin beds or attached to make a king size bed, a sitting area with comfortable chairs and TV, a closet and small dresser. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and a drip coffee maker. All dishes, silverware and pots and pans are provided.
Food or meals are not provided. Local supermarket is less than a mile away.
We do not provide sheets and towels. If it's not possible for you to bring your own please let us know. A fee will apply. NO PETS NO SMOKING.
The cottage has two screened in porches with table and chairs for dining and relaxing.
Our location is in a quiet non-commercialized area, assuring our guests of privacy. This cottage has a view of the surrounding woods and a limited view of the lake.
Get in touch with nature, perfect for boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing. There are few locations on the 'big lake' that offer so much privacy without a long drive to the store and services. Restaurants and groceries are only 2 minutes by car or boat. Restaurants ranging from family fast food to gourmet meals are within a couple of miles.

Guest access
One hundred fifty feet of sandy swimming with gradual slope, two wharves, swim float, stone fireplace by lake for cook-outs, outdoor shuffle-board court and table tennis. For our guests we offer complimentary use of the canoe.
We also offer KAYAK RENTALS.
There are many islands to explore by water. The harbor is protected on three sides which makes it ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

Other things to note
NO PETS NO SMOKING.
Weekly rentals Friday to Friday during July & August unless the cottage isn't booked then we will consider a shorter last minute reservation. We prefer to rent a minimum of three nights other times of the year because of the cleaning involved with a cottage, but a 2 night minimum will be considered. Events and holiday weekends may require a longer minimum stay.
We do not provide sheets and towels. If it's not possible for you to bring your own please let us know. A fee will apply.
A deep well on the property assures great drinking water.
Boat slips available if you bring your own boat. Additional cost for boat slips. Please inquire. Plenty of parking for trailers.
Close to all area attractions. Cruise Lake Winni on the MS Mount Washington (it departs from Center Harbor on Monday's), hike in the White Mountains, tour Castle in the Clouds, attend a concert at Meadowbrook, shop at the Outlet stores in North Conway, go zip lining in Lincoln, ride the Cog Railroad up Mount Washington. Just to name a few of the many things to see and do in our beautiful area!

We love to swim, sail, pick blueberries, kayak, canoe, and ride our 19ft bowrider on Lake Winni. We snowmobile in the winter at our log cabin in the mountains. We have snowmobiled to Fort Kent, Maine and hope to tour Canadian trails in the future. We enjoy meeting new people and doing all we can to assure our guests have a wonderful and memorable stay. Gary is an electronics engineer/customer service manager and Cindy's background is accounting and business.
