Our home is close to the Bar Harbor town center, public transport, Acadia National Park, shops and nightlife. You’ll love our place because of the location and ambiance. It is near downtown but private and quiet with plenty of off street parking and a spacious garden. The space is great for couples, families (including kids), and big groups. 3 bedrooms plus additional sleeping futon in living room and sleeper sofa on the sunporch.

The space
The property can accommodate 8 guests. Two queen beds are in the two downstairs bedrooms, with an additional stowaway bed that can be placed wherever preferred. The third bedroom is a loft on the 2nd floor with two twin beds. The living room contains a futon that pulls out to a double bed as well as a futon chair that can pull out into a single bed (with ottoman). The sunroom contains a sleeper sofa.

The garden contains a grill that you can use, as well as outdoor seating, adding to the many ways you can enjoy the house and make yourself comfortable while you are here. We hope to have the opportunity to host you!

Guest access
Guests have access to all of the home except for a small 2nd floor "in-law" apartment in the rear of the building. The tenant in that apartment has a private entrance. The basement laundry facilities are exclusively for your use as is the garden.

Things to Do:

Acadia National Park
Swimming, beaching, hiking, walking, site-seeing. Visit the Park Information Centers to get all the details and locations. The sunrise on top of Cadillac Mountain is especially nice, as it’s the first place it can be seen in the U.S., as well as Schoodic Point, northwest of Hancock off Rt. 1 (if you are not an early bird, the sunset is pretty nice too! – park at the Blue Hill Overlook near the top of Cadillac)
Carriage Road Walks
There are many carriage roads all over the Island, built during the Depression and earlier. Many are in Acadia National Park, but some can be found off of the main highways. You can access a few carriage roads in Northeast Harbor and Seal Harbor, including Little Long Pond and Day Mountain, in Seal Harbor.

Mountains trails that can be accessed outside of the Park include: Door Mountain, Day Mountain, Eagle’s Craig, St. Sauvier.
