An oasis for artists and people who love to be in the middle of nature. A beautiful resort in a central location of Uvita.

It is built on a small hill, which makes the whole property quiet and private and protected from the hustle and bustle of Uvita. Nevertheless, due to the central location, supermarkets, restaurants and the beach (Marino National Park 1-2 km away) are within walking distance. Perfect for people looking for a simple, quiet life and time in harmony with nature.

The space
To reach the casita from the main road, you have to turn left and follow a path for about 400 meters until you get to the hill where the Casita is located. The path is
hilly, so it is necessary, if a car is available, to use a higher car (4x4). However, a car is by no means a prerequisite to get to the casita. Although the place is very private and quiet and almost as if torn from the somewhat more turbulent life of the Uvita village, it is still super central. And it is, as I said, all within walking distance within 1-2 km.

The Casita Kolibri consists of a large room with a bed, a kitchen with fridge, a desk, and a shelf. It has a strong ceiling fan, but it does not have AC. The bathroom with shower and toilet is in a small room, which is attached to the casita. The casita also has an outdoor shower. On the front of the casita is a small veranda with a small wooden bench. It is ideal as a place to do yoga or drink tea/coffee.

The Casita Kolibri is a wooden hut. This means that you are strongly exposed to the sounds of nature. From loud animals, to heavy rain noises & ocean noises, to the fact that unfortunately you sometimes hear the trucks from the distant road when the wind is in the right direction. In addition, a bar 1 km away plays karaoke music on some days until 11 pm. You can definitely hear the music in the casita, but it does not stand out in the foreground of nature.

It is sweet and simply furnished, but it is not luxurious. If that doesn't bother you, and you want to enjoy privacy and nature combined with a central location in Uvita, the casita Kolibri can be just the right place for you.

Smoking, as well as celebrating parties with loud music, is prohibited.

Guest access
You are cordially invited to move freely around the property during your stay. Behind the Plato of the casitas, a staircase leads to a lower area of about 4000 m².
Of course, you have to be responsible for your actions and in Costa Rica it is always important to be careful, especially in the jungle.
We are currently planting all kinds of fruit trees. You are welcome to help yourself.
