Husmannsplassen Hanshagan at Nøttestad Søndre farm

From July 2025, we can finally welcome you to Hanshagan – an authentic farmhouse, closely restored in 1920s style, but with modern comfort. The house has recently been carefully restored: original materials have been preserved, old craft traditions continued, and all with respect for the history of the place. Here you can experience life as it was – without sacrificing warmth, hygiene or convenience. Hanshagan is beautifully situated in Stange Vestbygd and offers views of fields, forests and Mjøsa.

Perfect for a couple/students and friends, who are looking for a place to stay. Rural surroundings, but only 5 km to Hamar city center. There is marked parking, and visible signs at the entrance. Here you have the opportunity to rent a scooter or bicycle, if there is a need for a means of transport during your stay with us, as there are poor bus connections. Animals are allowed, but should be kept away from bed and sofa, considering allergies of any other guests, and please vacuum the apartment

Two additional beds are available in a separate 15 m² annex. Access to the backyard and a large rooftop terrace with stunning views can be arranged upon request. EV charging available.

Central cozy apartment

Newly renovated apartment central in Hamar ☺️ Best suited for 2 persons, but also works for more. Large sofa that can also be slept on. About 7-8 minutes walk to the Viking ship, and 10-15 minutes walk to the city center and shopping center. Good bus connections nearby and grocery stores. Welcome to our cozy detached house in Øvre Vang, outside Hamar. The detached house is located in idyllic rural surroundings in a quiet residential area. Only 400 meters to the nearest grocery store. Short distance to Gåsbu and the entrance to Hedmarksvidda's beautiful nature, with fishing and hiking opportunities in the summer as well as great cross-country ski trails in the winter! 10 minutes drive to Hamar city center.

Start of the tour

Simple and peaceful accommodation in scenic surroundings. The cabin's location is on the northern side of Furuberget, and with lots of hiking trails and only 800 meters walk from the beach at Mjøsa, this is a good starting point for trips, relaxation and fun. Walking or cycling along the promenade from Jessnes to Hamar is a great trip of about 8 km, and a great starting point for many nice experiences.

Husmannsplassen Havrebakken on Helgøya

Husmannsplassen Havrebakken is an idyllic little house on Hovelsrud farm on Helgøya with a phenomenal view of Mjøsa. It is a nice house with living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a private garden around the house. Here you can sit on nice evenings and enjoy the view. There is access to the beach at Hovelsrud. There are nice hiking trails in the woods right behind the house.
