Here you can enjoy the lake with the boat located in the jetty, 5 min walk from the house. 45 min drive to Bergen. In the surrounding area you can take mountain trips, visit the beautiful beach as well as sand volleyball and tennis court at Hjellvik, 2 km away. A 14-foot plastic boat from 2021 with a new 6 hp located in the jetty 400 m from the house is included in the rent. There are also 2 bicycles in the basement. Osterøy is a great starting point for nice mountain trips. Tirevollfjellet at 303 meters above sea level, is 1 hour walk from the door.

In this place you can find peace for both body and soul. The apartment is located in a peaceful spot on Osterøy, without noise and engine noise. From the apartment you have lake views of the beautiful Osterfjorden, and can enjoy the sunset from a cozy garden just outside the entrance. Parts of the apartment are brand new (June 25) and appear both practical and homey. There is a short walking distance to mountain trips, beach and sports facilities. Possibilities to rent extra cottage with room for 2-3 children. Fresh eggs in the chicken coop.

The apartment is a private part of a cozy home, with its own entrance and large outdoor area. Short distance to the beach, volleyball and tennis court. More hiking opportunities. Only 45 min to Bergen city center. Included is an extra bedroom in a traditional grindbygg with beautiful views of fjord, mountains and forest. Please Note: - There is no private bathroom, so guests must use the apartment's facilities. - The gate building is the only place without roller blinds, but sleeping masks are provided for a good night's sleep.

Byrkjetunet Farm

Byrkjetunet Gard is a farm in quiet and peaceful surroundings on Osterøy. Here you can stay in the farm's apartment, where you have your own entrance and terrace. The apartment has a bedroom, open kitchen solution, sofa corner and private bathroom. There is also a sofa bed so that more people can travel. Here you live surrounded by idyllic westland nature on all sides. It is a short distance to the lake for fishing, swimming and great mountain walks. Animals are of course welcome with us 🌻

Outboard motor available at additional cost. (use of motor, boat license if you were born after 1980) Fine hiking areas in the high mountains or in the lowlands. May be available for private guided tours in the nearby mountains.

The apartment is located in Ytre Arna with a nice view over the fjord. It is located 20mins by car from the center of Bergen. The busstop is 3 minutes away and you can get to the City in 30 to 40min by bus. We can help you plan your transport from the airport. There is a big garden and a park close to the appartment. We also have a private parking place for you. There are nice hiking possibilities here and on the way to the fjords/Hardanger.
