Das Dorf ist 20 km von Sibiu, dem kulturellen und wirtschaftlichen Zentrum der Region mit einer äußerst sehenswerten historischen Altstadt, gelegen. Casa Florica, im Herzen des Dorfes gelegen, ist ein über 120 Jahre altes Holzhaus, das zw. 2011-2017 restauriert/ renoviert wurde. Die Räume sind renoviert und traditionell und authentisch eingerichtet.

In the area you can visit landmarks or organize tourist trails. We are waiting for you to visit the village of Octavian Goga and Emil Cioran.

Vă pun la dispoziție micul meu apartament de oaspeți pentru o ședere liniștită și relaxantă. Apartamentul este situat chiar în satul Gura Râului, un sat tradițional al Mărginimii Sibiului, pe o stradă liniștită. Este foarte aproape de orașul Sibiu (aprox. 15 km) cât și de alte sate tradiționale. Aflat la poalele Munților Cindel, Gura Râului este un loc deosebit pe care Lucian Blaga l-a numit "satul lui de suflet".
