Casa Poesía keeps traditional El Hierro architecture alive; stone walls, a juniper-chip ceiling, and the private patio make a harmonious architectural ensemble that maintains the love of a poetic home. Built by my paternal grandparents in 1900-restored in recent years step by step and with a lot of love, in the last 3 years we renovated the staircase, changed the windows and door of the upper floor, creativity and art are mimicked in the essence of the house. It is located at one end of the main street in a quiet area a few meters from all amenities (banks, bars, restaurants, post office, supermarkets, etc.) Less than a 10-minute drive away you have many places of interest such as the natural pools of La Maceta, El Charco Azul, Hotel Punta Grande or the Ecomuseo de Guinea where the Giant Lizard of El Hierro is located. I am renting a tiny house below my property in the gulf valley of El Hierro. Shower outside, loo inside. A small kitchen beside the accomodation, which is for one person only. Good WIFI-access. This is no hotel-room in the wilderness, no wardrobe. Basic and cozy.
