The Grade 2 listed Old Library, Masham sits on the corner of the principle approach in to the Market Square from Swinton. Built in 1856 it originally served as the Mechanic Institute of then Mashamshire. It was designed by the respected William Perkin of Perkin and Backhouse of Leeds in Victorian Italianate style. Gorgeous little cottage overlooking Nidderdale with amazing views, quiet and cosy. Good sized living area and dining table combined, small kitchen but everything you need to eat in unless you take advantage of the local pub which is a short walk away. Recently renovated with new bathroom, beds, decor and flooring (spring 2022). Outside upper level outside the cottage has a decking area per cottage with own seating to admire our view and the amazing sunsets or starry night skies.
