Pura Vida. 600 sq ft Guest Cabina is located on the edge of a small pueblo in the middle of the largest coffee plantation in Costa Rica. It sleeps four and has hot water. It has a Jacuzzi overlooking a river and an active volcano. This is a unique property. Check out the photos.
“Travelers should expect two of the best hosts you could hope for in Bob and Helen. Friendly, helpful, thoughtful, would all be appropriate descriptions of these two hosts. Their place is very lovely and the location is exceptional. Bob and Helen's "second family", Francis and Fernanda (and their kiddos) were wonderful to meet. Aquiares is a very quaint little town and is very easy going. The grocery is an easy walk from their place and it isn't too hard to find a ride or take a bus down to Turrialba. There is plenty to do in the area and Bob and Helen are very good about helping you connect with the right people. We have traveled a few places in the world, this one was easily one of our favorite stays. Pura vida!”
Eclectic 3 bedroom home close to Pacuare, Costa Rica's world famous white water river, plus other high adventure real nature opportunities. Private hot tub, fireplace, observation deck. Comfort, privacy, a touch of luxury, yet easy access to towns. Cook, meals, driver available at extra cost. TURRIALBA VOLCANO ACTIVITY DOES NOT IMPACT VOLARE. The volcano is WEST of Volare and Turrialba Valley. Winds carry ash to San José, away from us.
“The photos simply don't do this place justice! We were in awe the moment we pulled into the driveway. The house is gorgeously designed and appointed - it's very obvious it was built as a home and not just a rental. Everything in the house was in working order (a first for us in Costa Rica!) and very cozy. The view from the deck is phenomenal. We got very detailed information from the host about the house and the surrounding area, and the housekeeper and groundskeeper were available and very helpful. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived, right down to wood laid in the fireplacem and fresh cut fruit in the fridge. Our rental car also had a flat, and the groundskeeper was very kind to take the tire in for repair for us! Would absolutely stay here again!”
It is a big house with several rooms. We have a room with a queen bed, a double room with single beds, a single room, and a room with four beds. There are three living rooms, a garden, a big kitchen, a balcony on the second floor where you can see two major volcanos. Garage for two cars. Located in downtown, close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bus station, the park and minutes from the banks, valleys, and rain forests.
“This was hands down the best Airbnb (out of four) my partner and I stayed while we were in Costa Rica. The hospitality was amazing, the views from the terrace upstairs enviable. Juan Carlos' mother will make you feel like you're at home—and she's an amazing cook! Delicious gallo pinto and arroz con leche. Very resourceful, JC's parents offered tips on transportation and places to check out, such as el Mirador de Orosi, the volcano at Irazú, and the city of Cartago just a few minutes away by Uber or the public bus. Best part of all, Paraíso has relatively few tourists but is still within a short distance from San José and major national parks. Don't hesitate to book here.”
