The Gatehouse

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Situated in the grounds of this 12th Century Chateau with six acres of mature gardens and woodlands, surrounded by fields of corn. This pretty detached gatehouse boasts three double bedrooms, one with twin beds, two reception rooms, eat-in kitchen and a family bathroom with separate wc. Outside there is an above ground pool and pool house, with two separate seating areas to relax. A short car journey to Orthez for everything you need.

Le gîte est à moins de 10 mn de Salies de Béarn, ses thermes et toutes les commodités ou encore de Sauveterre de Béarn. Saint Palais, carrefour médiéval sur le chemin de Saint Jacques, où convergent les trois voies du Puy, de Vézelay et de Tours est à 20 mn. La côte Atlantique (Hendaye, Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz etc. et les Pyrénées sont à environ 60mn en voiture.

Cottage in the French Basque Countryside

The cottage is entirely new, located at the back of an old Basque farmhouse from the 17th century. The 16 sqm bedroom is located in a mezzanine with a wrought iron railing. The bathroom is equipped with an 80x120 cm shower as well as a dry towel radiator. The toilet is separate. the kitchen is fully equipped with cold ventilated refrigerator, 4 induction light cooking plate, catalysis oven, washing machine 7 kgs, hood, microwave. TV and wifi.

The Larunque Castle, built in the 19th century and renovated in an Italian style, located between Bayonne and Hossegor, is ideal for meeting up with family or friends, enjoying absolute calm in a lush environment, swimming in the heated pool, melting in the sauna, relaxing in the Jacuzzi or playing tennis or pétanque... The towns of Bayonne and Hossegor are 30 minutes by car, as well as the surfing beaches of Landes and the Basque Country.
