We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability.The beautiful colors of egg oil tempera adorn the walls, and genuine linseed oil paint is a given in a house from the late 19th century.Nice tiled stoves warm up nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are nice conditions for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Romme alpine. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with a connection approximately 100 meters from the farm.The house is located close to the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Here you live minutes from Falun and Borlänge but in the middle of nature, close to a lake with a beach in the summer and long skating rinks in the winter. In the 42 sqm cottage, there is a larger room with a kitchen/sofa bed and a stove, as well as a small bedroom. One bathroom with underfloor heating, shower and toilet. In the kitchen there is a stove, oven and microwave, fridge and freezer. The sofa bed is easily made up for two people and in the bedroom there is a 120 cm wide bed. Pillows and duvets are provided for 4 people. Access to washer/dryer.

Engelbrekt

We call our cottage Engelbrekt because it was moved here from Engelbrektsgatan in Falun, when the entire block was to be demolished in the 1960s. Now we have equipped the cottage carefully and tried to give it an old-fashioned touch. The house consists of a kitchen and a bedroom. In the bedroom, there is a double bed and a bunk bed. The cottage has a shower and toilet. The cottage is 20 meters from the lake, where you have access to a private jetty and a small rowing boat. On the large lawn, there is garden furniture and a barbecue.

Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. 200 meters to the lake and your own jetty. Three bedrooms with double beds in each. Glazed porch with dining area. In the middle of nature with many nice walking paths along a cultural-historical hiking trail. Rich mushroom and berry forest. Relax in this calm, cozy accommodation in wonderful Vassbo, which is located right between Falun and Borlänge. Here you can easily jump into the water in the summer at the swimming area that is 100 meters away or why not skate in the winter. You can go cross-country and downhill skiing nearby, so why not take a trip to Romme alpine during the day! Just behind the property, there is an apple orchard with over 100 apple varieties. The house is built next to beautiful Vassboherrgård and is a perfect accommodation all year round.
