Great restaurants, including the best chef in Germany, museums, markets, concerts, pool, a lake - all on your doorstep. Hiking/biking trails are right behind the house so coming by car is not necessary. Strasbourg - 30 minutes, Freiburg 45 & Europapark 25 mins away!

In the middle of the vineyards

In the middle of the vineyards, on the southern slope, with great views of the front Kinzig Valley, our house is in a secluded location. In the basement, at ground level to the garden, there is a cozily furnished apartment, where you can be comfortable in any season and in any weather. The combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom are accessible on around 45 m² barrier-free. Right outside the front door you will find endless hiking trails through the Black Forest.

Holunder Vacation Rental

The holiday apartment Ferienwohnung Holunder with step-free interior is located in Gengenbach and impresses guests with its view of the mountain. The 90 m² property consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include a smart TV with streaming services, a washing machine as well as a dryer. A baby cot and a high chair are also available. This accommodation does offer Wi-Fi.

Our 2025 newly renovated approx. 87 sqm apartment is located in the heart of the Fessenbach wine resort, about 1.5 km from Offenburg. It is in a quiet and idyllic location surrounded by vineyards, but major attractions such as Europa-Park in Rust (39 km, about 30 minutes by car), Freiburg or Strasbourg can also be reached quickly. (Environmental sticker for France required if you travel by car. Alternatively, there are train connections from Offenburg or Kehl.

Shopping, supermarkets and a bus stop are just minutes away by foot.
