A self contained, compact studio apartment located within my home, with a private secure entrance. We are 3 miles from Morpeth town centre and easily reached from the main A1 and A696. It is a double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. The apartment has its own kitchen with facilities/utensils for self catering (hob & microwave oven). There is a sofa and dining area with digital smart tv. There is tea and coffee provided along with fresh milk, butter,breakfast cereals and sliced bread.

Private parking onsite for up to 4 cars and easy access by train to Newcastle, Durham, Edinburgh, York.

Stannington has a pub and farm shop and is only 5 miles from the market town of Morpeth. The Annexe is spacious and versatile, suitable for wedding guests, business travellers, family staycations, or stopovers whilst travelling north or south.

The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.
