This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. The unique experience at the former Japanese traditional Kimono shop(about 97years old house). This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.

"Kura" a Japanese historical warehouse where you can stay is in the Makiroku Noen, an orchard that has been in Obuse, Ngano for 10 generations. We renovated a historic warehouse and transformed into a small cozy place with a Japanese style bathtub on the first floor, and two queen-size beds on the second floor. Inside the historic building, you can have a relaxing time with the bath, reading a book in peaceful and quiet atmosphere, or watch a movie on the projector.
