TABITABI KANOE MITSU

Tabitabi Kanoe Mitsu is a fully renovated, over 100-year-old Kyomachi house, located right next to Rokubo-Ritsu-Ji Temple, and is limited to one group per day. Looking from the entrance, you can see the garden spreading beyond the Yukimi Shoji sliding screen. It features a large palm tree. When you open the window from the living room, the semi-open-air bath directly connected to the garden invites guests to the best healing experience regardless of the season. The bathtub is made of Shigaraki-yaki, produced in a kiln in Shiga Prefecture. The far infrared effect warms the body to the core and makes it difficult for the bath to cool down. Why not relax from the daily grind while enjoying a drink and taking in the beautiful Japanese garden? The Japanese-style room on the second floor features a shoji screen with a Mondrian-style design. The bedroom headboard is designed to resemble the Tateyama mountain range. NISHIMURA-TEI Hanare - Kitchen & Dining

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

MODERN TOWN HOUSE KYOTO NIJO STATION

Open to discount bookings for persons stuck in Japan bcz of situation. It's a fully renovated Kyoto Machiya with modern facilities. It's located on the same alley with other two authentic Kyoto Machiya town houses. You can enjoy staying in this house as if you are local residents. There are two rooms on the second floor. One of them has two single beds and the other room has a sofa bed for two which makes four people to stay in this house. The house has everything you need to stay comfortably.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.
