With southern idyll and great nature on all sides, it is a perfect place for relaxation and excursions. Fenced garden towards the lake and road, so small children can play freely. Hidra has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, fishing and nature experiences, but is also the starting point for trips to Brufjell, Flekkefjord city, Kjeragbolten, Prekestolen and many other exciting places.

Bjørklund Farm

Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year, it may be especially attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund farm for Norgesferie.

Alone In The Woods With Your Own River Nearby

Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

The house is located in a small fruit farm in Sørfjorden, Hardanger, not far fromTrolltunga and Mikkelparken ( one hour by car) It is a charming house where you can feel at home with a modern kitchen and bathroom (2015) wich is blended beautiful in with the historical furnitures and old wooden walls. The house has to bedrooms and a small sleeping-hall. It is suitable for 6 persons, a family or two couples. If you like fishing we also have a boathouse next to the fjord.
