The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

New cottage from 2014 just 10 km from Evenes Airport. The cabin is located halfway (260 km each way) between Tromsø and Å on the mainland of Lofoten. The cottage has a simple and good standard with most amenities one expects to find in a regular home. The cottage has lovely views towards Tjeldsundet in the north and has midnight sun from late May to mid July. In the dark part of the year there are good conditions for admiring the Northern Lights.
