In the nearby outdoor swimming pool Stapelskotten you can swim, the bike and hiking trail starts in front of the door and the boat rental is also not far.

The train station (hourly connection to Dortmund and Enschede) and the bus station (half-hourly connection to Münster) are a 10-minute walk away.
