Spacious holiday home with lake plot. Completed in 2017 with a bright and open plan with all possible amenities. There is access to a boat and a lovely swimming jetty. Lake perfect for fishing! Charcoal grill is available to borrow for barbecue evenings that you can spend on a lovely deck with lake view. The house has a larger bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed with a larger bed at the bottom. In the loft, there is a regular bed as well as a comfortable mattress on the floor. A/C is available for hot days.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

The forge at Humletorp Farm

Smedjan is a beautiful, private house for two, originally the smithy of the farm. Look out across the lake when taking breakfast, whether looking through a green field at blue water, or across a white landscape to a frozen wonderland. Smedjan has enough plates, cutlery; pots and pans, for 2 people. Tea and coffee, coffee machine and kettle are also available. When you get up to the black wooden house on the hill, take a deep breath, let your shoulders relax, look around and enjoy the rustling of the pine tree crowns! Here is a completely newly built house (year of construction: 2025) with stylish exterior/interior for those of you who want peace and quiet. Just the trees are neighbors! The house is interesting to rent for both families and smaller groups such as golfers, hikers, cultural visitors, etc.

Stay in our beautiful stuga (2022) with a traditional look and modern interior. Enjoy the unique sound of cranes, and spot a deer or moose in the backyard during Summer. Take a walk along the stream, and discover the different colours of trees in the Autumn. Explore the white world and the frozen lake in the Winter. And experience the awakening of nature during Spring. The stuga is suitable for max. 2 persons.

The cottage is situated in a undisturbed area with the most amazing view over the lake Fryken. About 300 metres from the beach and 2 km from restaurants, groceries store, railway station and gas station. In the cabin you'll find a cosy stove, shower and a small kitchen. I think you're really gonna enjoy just hanging out and relax on the farmyard.
