It is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, but it is also recommended for couples or small groups staying for consecutive nights. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, making it comfortable for stays of 3 nights or longer. Go to different places every day, such as Hakuba, Matsumoto, Narai, Togakushi, Azumino, Omachi, and Hida Takayama, and return to the same inn at night to relax in the sauna. Please use it as a base for a leisurely trip around Nagano. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. I spent a year and a half fully renovating the place by myself, paying meticulous attention to every detail from a guest's perspective. We have created a special space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly relax. Designed with two people in mind, it has high ceilings and feels surprisingly spacious.In a calm space where you can feel the warmth of wood, you can enjoy the seasonal changes of the forest from the window.We offer a luxurious time where you wake up to the light of the mountains in the morning and spend the night gazing at the starry sky. It is tucked away in the woods, but it is just a few minutes from the ski resort and cafes in Hakuba. We will pick you up and drop you off at Hakuba Station and the Happo Bus Terminal. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi.
