It is also ideal as a base for those wishing to visit the many tourist resorts in the area: Orta San Giulio, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Ossola Valley, the Strona Valley, Valsesia and many others. LaDimora was built in 1850 on the Strada Regia. This is a Roman (donkey) path that connects Como with Bellagio. In the renovation of this cozy farmhouse, all conceivable modern amenities were combined with the beautiful old atmosphere elements. LaDimora is within walking distance of the beach, the bus stop, several restaurants, a bar, canoe and (speed) boat rental and a supermarket where you can buy fresh bread daily and also order pizza (order one day in advance).
