This apartment offers you both: tranquility in the countryside and yet you are in the middle of Munich in just 30 minutes. The train station is a 2-minute walk away. The Ammersee and Wörthsee, two of the most beautiful lakes in the Munich area, can also be reached by car in 15 minutes. The apartment is located in a house with six parties on the property where my grandparents' house used to be. That's why there are still some memorabilia in the apartment, such as my grandmother's old sewing machine.

The house on the lake belongs to my wife and me. My son and his wife coordinate the rental for us (co-hosts). The lower apartment in the house is rented, the upper one we use occasionally. We look forward to welcoming you as guests in the upper apartment. The apartment is newly renovated, 100 sqm2 in size, offers plenty of space, light and a view over the lake and the mountains – great to unwind. Living/dining room, balcony, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms & a sauna.

You have the upper floor and attic for you, the drum room with double bed, the living room, the attic with 4 sleeping places, a kitchen, bathroom and a huge roof terrace. From Geltendorf you can reach Munich and almost the Oktoberfest by train in 35 minutes, Lake Ammersee by bike in 25 minutes and the Alps in 1 hour. We are here to help you with any questions.

Geltendorf is adjacent to the beautiful 5 Lakes Country and is centrally located between Munich, Augsburg and Garmisch Partenkirchen. Seasonal attractions such as the Kaltenberg Knight's Games, the Augsburg Plärrer or the Munich Oktoberfest are easily accessible by car or public transport.
