Tickles Cottage was built in 1850 by the cornish miners and is adjacent to Peppertree Cottage in a beautiful Rural Setting. Cottages can be booked together or separately. Only 2 kms south of the historical township of Mintaro in the beautiful Clare Valley .Walking distance to Martindale Hall and Mintaro Maze. Mintaro has the best country pub for lunches or dinners. Historical Burra is only a half an hour to the mining town. Clare Valley has excellent wineries and the Reisling trail to explore

WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat

Barossa 1900 offers luxury vineyard accommodation for 10 people in the Barossa Valley, one hour’s drive from Adelaide. The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Homestead, together these two properties sleep 18 people. We offer generous inclusions and private winemaker tastings by appointment.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

1858 Barossa Accommodation farmhouse.

1800's historic farmhouse on acreage for up to 6 guests. We provide breakfast provisions such as, Barossa sourdough, local eggs, vine- ripened tomatoes, Smokehouse bacon and dairy man butter. A bottle of premium Gumpara Wine and a platter of locally sourced produce on arrival. Fresh milk, Barossa tea and coffee and local jams are also complimentary. Yarrabee Retreat is a cosy, modern, freshly renovated space (55m2) situated on our 2 and a half acres, framed by gum trees and with abundant wildlife. Yarrabee means "many gum trees", and is only five mins drive to Clare. An easy 5 mins walk to Clare Valley Cycle Hire and a leisurely stroll to local wineries. A bright open plan living area, with the kitchenette equipped with a single burner induction hob and microwave.
