Past the farm, there are beautiful hiking trails and by car it is 10 minutes to wonderful beaches along the lake Lygnern. In the nearby area, there are forests and fields that invite cross-country running, mushroom and berry picking, and hiking. Nearby are local sourdough bakery and summer restaurant. The country roads invite you to cycle, and the lakes offer fishing opportunities. A small rowboat is available for rent on the nearest lake.

Historic accommodation in 18th-century cottage

Have you always dreamed of a small cottage in the forest? Here you will find a unique small cottage from the 18th century. Here you can listen to the crackling from both the tiled stove and wood stove. There are beautiful walking trails and exercise trails in the forest and a small forest lake very close by. The beautiful forest is rich in wildlife and has plenty of mushrooms and berries. On the property, a little below the cottage, there is another 19th-century house that is inhabited year-round. In the summer, the meadows may be grazed by horses or other animals.

The house was freshly renovated in 2021 and is suitable for smaller groups who want simple days in a beautiful environment. The cottage is located between Borås, Gothenburg and Varberg, all of which can be reached in less than an hour by car. Two lakes are within walking distance. Sandsjön has a dock and sandy beach. Öjasjön has a simpler swimming area but is calm and beautiful. There are plenty of trails for those who want to walk or run.

Unique pigsty outside Borås

A quarter of an hour outside Borås in Fritsla, this brick building was a pigsty 100 years ago. Here you can enjoy nature and Häggån, which flows 10 meters from the house. It is a quiet area with two other residential buildings a few hundred meters away. The house consists of a single large living room of 100 m2 with kitchen, dining area and sofa area with fireplace. Vika Trollen - Idyllic red cottage by the beach

Cozy cottage located right on the waterfront with a large south-facing terrace. During the summer months, there is a rowboat and a canoe at the private dock as well as a charcoal grill and outdoor furniture. There is fast WiFi in the cottage that reaches all the way down to the dock. The cottage has two cozy bedrooms and a loft where you can socialize in the evenings. The small kitchen is fully equipped with most things you may need during your vacation, such as a microwave, dishwasher and large fridge and freezer.

Here you can relax in the countryside, while being close to both GeKås in Ullared (35 minutes), Borås (just under 60 minutes) and Gothenburg (just over 60 minutes).

Very cozy little cottage with an elevated location and great views over the lake and sunset. Fully equipped kitchen and toilet with shower and washing machine. Sofa bed for two and a bed foot recliner where one more person can sleep. There are duvets and pillows, but you need to bring your own bed linens and towels. Modern TV, Apple TV and fast internet via fiber.
