The 'Sehr Altes Haus' is a unique place to experience a relaxing place with history. It is located in a triangle of three cities: one hour from Frankfurt, 50 min. from Fulda, and 22 min. from Alsfeld. The house dates from 1545 and has been rebuilt as a family project. Now, it is ready to open its doors. All natural materials bring "life": pls. have an understanding. The wood and kitchen stoves are the only heating sources. During the cold season, it's warm only near the stove. Enjoy your stay!

We have placed special emphasis on high-quality and comprehensive amenities. The cottage is rurally idyllic in a former vacation resort and offers a lot of privacy.

The location in the middle of the nature reserve & not far from the famous rocky sea in Lautertal welcomes hikers,connoisseurs,peace seekers and nature lovers. The house is part of a former water mill in beautiful countryside between forest and Weil . Important : I have only been renting the residence since August 2022 . All the reviews from the time before , refer to the small pink cottage. This means that the guest comments say something about the location in general, but nothing about the equipment of the pink remise . The little pink cottage was charming and easy . The pink remise would get significantly more stars .

Small cottage on the Dilsberg

Small house within the beautiful, old fortress Dilsberg, near Heidelberg. The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and part of the old fortress wall. Renovated in 2019, only ecological materials were used. On the ground floor are the living room, kitchen, hallway and bathroom. Bedrooms (mattresses replaced 08/2025) small anteroom are accessible on the upper floor via a narrow staircase. There are two wood stoves. Firewood is there. NO WI-FI!

Rhöner half-timbered house with special charm

The old half-timbered house is located in the middle of a small village in the Bavarian Rhön Biosphere Reserve. It will be occupied by you alone during your stay. It can accommodate 4 adults if 2 bedrooms are sufficient. However, there is still a single mattress in the living room. 1-2 dogs are allowed. Bicycles or motorcycles can be stored in the barn.
