The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. No dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating in the floor. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking at the cabin during summer.

The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. The "Firehouse" was built in 2004 with all the modern qualities. There are heating cables on the floor, private terrace, a great wood-fired back oven and a growing area just outside. The house includes a bedroom and loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and biking trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal city center, 4 min away is Kaupanger city center with grocery store and ViteMeir center, nice for big and small! 2 min away you will find a basin, playland and gym.

Nice hiking opportunities both along the river, and in the great surrounding mountains in Lærdalsdalen. 4 km to Lærdal center where you will find shops, Norsk Villakssenter, Sogn Art Center, Motorikkpark etc. Lærdal is located by E16, right between Oslo and Bergen, and with a short way to Aurland/Flåm, Hemsedal, Sogndal and Årdal.
