The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others. There are great hiking areas all year round, whether you like prepared ski tracks or the snow mountain in winter and mountain shoes or bike in the summer. Bellestugu is a beautiful, historic farmhouse on Lesja. Restored and set up as part of the farm at Brendjordsbyen in 2021.

Welcome to a private and pet-friendly mountain cabin, 980 MASL, just one kilometer from the national park boundary. Here, you are surrounded by powerful landscapes. The cabin does not have running water. Stream water is available before frost. There is no indoor toilet, but there is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.

Welcome to our cabin in Hornlia, Oppdal, in the outskirt of Trollheimen. This is a good base for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Beds / mattresses for six persons. You have to bring your own linen and towels. Cleaning / vacuuming before leaving. The cabin was new in January 2018 and contains: Two bedrooms, each with double beds. At the loft we have four mattresses on the floor. Bath with bathtub. Kitchen and living room. There is enough quilts and pillows for six persons.
