Studio 2 with kitchenette and bathroom

A mini-small studio that has everything you need to be happy in the smallest of spaces. If you want to spend your Ticino vacation independently and cheaply, this is the place. An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

You will fall in love with the magnificent view of lake and mountains from its terrace, its living room or from both bedrooms. Villa Clara allows you to reach the lakeside promenade via a private access which will bring you to the Piazza Grande of Locarno in less than 10 minutes by walk.

Casa Valeggia is located in a quiet residential area. The house has many windows and sun in charming position above the village of Maggia overlooking the waterfall of the Valle del Salto, nestled in a tropical garden, fully fenced and with a small swimming pool. Close to the house there is the possibility to swim in the river or at the waterfall. Recommended for people seeking tranquility, hikers and in search for privacy and contact with nature. Above Locarno in a beautiful garden, very quiet. From public parking/bus stop about 120 m. Parking house 50 steps. Pergola and garden seating, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi. Kitchen, shower, toilet. Wonderful views of Locarno and Ascona! Parking is subject to a fee, from 7 am to 7 pm, cost: 1 hour CHF 0.80, Sundays & holidays free. Longer stays are also possible. Bus number 3 or 4 from the train station, bus stop: Monti della Trinità. The stairs to the house go up in Via del Tiglio.

Newly renovated and well equipped , the studio is near family-friendly activities, public transport, the city center, tourist attractions ( Madonna del Sasso), Cardada cable car, mini market. You’ll love this place because of the neighbourhood, the coziness, the wonderful view of lago maggiore and the mountains arround, the free parking, you can enjoy sunbathing in the garden. The studio is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
