Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

Explore all that Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire has to offer. The Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and Malvern Hills are all within easy striking distance, and there are excellent transport links beyond to the Midlands and South Wales.

It was lovingly restored in 2021 retaining many original features including a log burner, stripped wooden floors and original oak beams. It is located in the small hamlet of Hom Green, 2 miles from Ross-On-Wye which is in the heart of the picturesque Wye Valley. The 136 mile Wye Valley walk passes within a mile of the property which is ideal for you and your dog to explore the hills, limestone gorges and viewpoints.

Inside, you will discover a spacious living area with an open layout and a few *steps* down to the living room. The patio windows allow plenty of natural light and provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Upstairs are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. The Haystore has been fully refurbished to provide gorgeous accommodation with direct access onto National Trust parkland and the Wye Valley AONB. Within walking distance is a farm shop, and a little further two award winning pubs. Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and the Black Mountains are a short drive making us an ideal base to explore the wider area.
