Cosy central heated Wooden log cabin/lodge surrounded by beautiful countryside views. Ideal for those wanting to be a mile from our local village but in a quiet area. Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. Amazing views, a wood burning stove, a very comfy four poster king sized bed, easy to use sofa bed and a fantastic shower have all been in 5* feedback left by many satisfied guests.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. ‘Top O' Th Hill Farm’ is nestled at the end of the infamous 'Hill Street', home to ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ characters, Howard, Pearl and Clegg. The grade II listed farm dates back to 1750 offers an authentic and cosy retreat, steeped in period features and set in 6 acres of woodland and meadows. The farm offers a peaceful elevated south facing location above the sleepy old village of Jackson Bridge with outstanding views across the valley and within 2 miles of Holmfirth.

Close to Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall, there are beautiful walks and cycle rides from the doorstep, which is 800m from the Pennine Bridleway. There is a wood burning stove (we provide a starter pack of logs) and well-behaved dogs are welcome. A king-sized bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge make this the perfect venue for couples, friends or parents and child!
