You can relax by the pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, or you can take a short 15 minute drive into the stunning beaches of Yamba, or 10 minutes to the quaint township of Maclean, situated on the banks of the Clarence River. Craigmore 2 @ Yamba - beach life at its best

Welcome to Yamba - an amazing holiday destination and twice voted Australia's best town. There is no better location than the iconic Craigmore. Located on the headland between Main and Convent Beaches and facing north-east, you have 180 degree ocean views across the Clarence River breakwater to Iluka Beach in the north and south across Lovers Point to Angourie in the south. Craigmore has direct access to Main and Convent Beaches. Whiting, Turners and Pippi Beaches are all a short walk away.

The Ferry House

The Ferry house is a cosy, heritage cottage, right on the banks of the Clarence River in the picturesque village of Chatsworth Island. Right next to a boat ramp, peaceful and quiet only 20 minutes to Yamba, Iluka and Maclean. There is something really special about this place. Absolute river frontage means you can swim, fish or just relax. The huge riverside deck gives comfortable outdoor living in both summer and winter, and the antique claw foot bath gives a fun outdoor bath experience.

Featuring a large covered deck, watch the sky turn golden each evening, listen to birds and enjoy the gentle rustle of eucalyptus trees in the breeze.

Comfort in the Cane Fields

The 1950s cane cutters Barracks looks the same outside but inside it has become a comfortable modern guest wing to the 1920s farmhouse. On the top floor, there are two ensuite rooms with queen beds, and a third room with two single beds which has a bathroom downstairs. There is a living room and limited kitchenette (no oven or cooktop). Luxury on your own, or up to six together. There are breezy decks all around, with great views over the cane fields, set in the midst of a working farm.
