Homestay in the land of last samurai！

It is a home stay at a private house in a quiet residential area. An artist in her 60's and two cats live in a Japanses style house. You are wellcomed as a member of the family, so we can cook and chat together. If you like, I can help you with sightseeing, kimono dressing and instract creating Japanse Paper art. You can enjoy the snowy landscape and natural hot spring in Winter too. If you can cook together, breakfast will be served. I hope you can have an unique stay in Japan.

◎施設内容をご確認の上ご予約ください◎ 【KIKORI HOUSE（キコリハウス）について】 2023年9月、福島県南会津町の山間にある製材会社オグラが徹底的に木にこだわって創り上げた住宅を泊まれる貸し一軒家にしました。木と共に生きた木地師の末裔にあたるオグラ。気密性を高めることで外界と断絶し、24時間空調に頼ることで快適性を追い求めた現代の住宅に疑問を抱き、家のなかにいながら自然の風や陽の光を感じることができる、木漏れ日のような気持ち良さを感じられる空間に仕上げました。日本の伝統的な大工技術を活かしながらも、現代的な設備を取り入れることで、不自由なく快適に滞在することができます。星がたくさんみえる真っ暗な夜、鳥や風のぬける音、雪玉がつくれないほどさらさらの粉雪。五感を使って南会津の雄大な自然を感じてみてください。近くには遅くまで空いている飲食店がほとんどありませんが、開放的なキッチンにはこだわりの調理器具や食器、基本的な調味料がそろっていますので、自炊していただくことをお勧めしています。

Cube in the Forest

The Cube in the forest is a uniquely cozy space that gives a floating sensation amidst abundant natural light and lush greenery. It was built in 1993 by a coelacanth, resembling a thrilling spaceship-like structure, and we inherited it from the previous owner. We have opened it as a vacation rental with the desire for our friends to enjoy the relaxed and cool ambiance, which is both impressive and effortlessly stylish.
