Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Water 🛶 activities (paddleboarding, canoeing, pedal boating, etc.), supervised swimming in summer 🥾 hikes from the house Horseback 🐎 rides Shops and restaurants 5 minutes away. 10 min from Rochechouart, Vayres and St-Mathieu. Très belle maison charentaise entièrement rénovée en 2020-21, avec vaste jardin arboré de 4000m². Parfaite pour des vacances nature au calme, en famille ou entre amis avec tout sur place pour en profiter (piscine chauffée en été, jacuzzi, BBQ/plancha gaz, table de ping-pong, baby-foot, balançoire, trampoline...). Située dans un petit bourg avec commerces à proximité (boulangerie, boucherie/produits artisanaux locaux, supermarché, pharmacie...) et un petit marché le dimanche.

Located in the countryside, in a wooded area, the cabin is 3 minutes from all amenities (bakery, organic grocery store, supermarkets, frozen food store...) and 3 minutes from the heart of Saint-Junien, (weekly market on Saturday morning, covered halls, bars, restaurants, doctors, hospital...). It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.
