Pleasant Gîte in Ascain near St-Jean-de-Luz

A 17th century house, the Altxua house (Aulnaie in Basque) was renovated in 2006 and offers an independent upstairs apartment with its private terrace (with barbecue). It is a short walk from the village of Ascain and all shops (800 m), 10 minutes from the sea and its beaches, golf courses and is the starting point for many hiking trails including the one leading to the Rhune. In summary: a quiet, relaxing place but close to all the points of interest of the Basque Country.

"Larrungo bidea" (the Rhune route)

Nice 2 bedroom duplex on the 1st floor of a small residence in the heart of the Basque Country. Equipped kitchen, living/dining room, large south-facing balcony. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Bed linen and towels included. Private parking space. The village 1.5 km away is within walking distance via the medieval road. You can visit the caves, climb the Rhune aboard the little rack railway, go hiking (PR, GR8, GR10), go see the ocean (14 km) or visit the Spanish side.

Close to the sea and the mountains, come and recharge your batteries in a refuge 10 minutes from Biarritz. Perched on stilts more than 3 m high, surrounded by trees in a lush garden, the cabin is fully equipped so you can enjoy great comfort in the heart of nature. The fully equipped summer kitchen is under the cabin. You will wake up to birdsong. OPTION: payable on site (no credit card): Nordic bath €40 (or €50 with 2 bathrobes). Simple self-service breakfast included.

Ascain city center is a 10-minute walk. You will also be 10 km from the beaches of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, 10 km from Col d'Ibardin, 25 minutes from Biarritz, 40 minutes from San Sebastián in Spain.

Enjoy the calm of a 40 m2 apartment, its 30 m2 terrace and its private 150 m2 garden not overlooked in the center of Ciboure (on foot from the historic center 5 minutes away, Cibouriens and Socoa beaches 10 minutes). Extension built in 2023 of the Pausatzeko house, literally "place where you rest", this outbuilding in a dominant position offers a central location for your stay all on foot: TGV station, port and halls of Saint Jean de Luz (15min) .

T2 INDEPENDENT WITH GARDEN near forest and beaches

10 minutes from the center of Bayonne and Biarritz, Jean and Isabelle will be happy to welcome you to the Millet house, an old house that they have restored. Located between Maharin Park and the pine forest of Chiberta, the Anglet beaches will be 5 min drive or 20/25 min walk away and accessible by bike through the forest. The duplex accommodation with a private garden of 30 m² is an outbuilding attached to the guest house. Easy street parking.

UATR1329 Quiet townhouse surrounded by forests and green mountains in northern Navarra. It has a full kitchen, living room with fireplace, two bathrooms and three bedrooms (five beds). Balconies, and a south-facing terrace with table, chairs, umbrella and hammocks. The vehicle is parked right outside the house. NEW (10/2022): The new access road allows all types of vehicles to arrive.
