Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a relatively new log villa in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and spacious. There is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen downstairs. There's plenty of room and sleeping places in the loft. A new beach sauna and terrace will be built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the comforts of modernity, and the large windows open up to a great lake view in two directions. In the heat of the fireplace, it's nice to watch the aurora borealis and listen to the silence. There are no neighbors nearby.

No charging of the electric car in the carport. The apartment has a set of dishes for 12 people. Dishwasher and microwave. If you prefer, you can have a set of linens for €22/person. The final cleaning of the apartment is the responsibility of the tenant. If you'd like, you can buy it as an extra service for €80. Please notify the landlord in time for the additional service.

Car and bikes can be covered in the carport. A warm storage space on the countertop and the possibility to service the hobby equipment are available. The lodges and hiking trails are accessible from the front door. Final cleaning and linen can be ordered at an additional cost.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
